Harrah's Reno

Nevada, USA

The hotel

Part of Reno’s famed leisure scene, Harrah’s Reno is more than a hotel – it’s a mega-casino, an entertainment destination, and a landmark in the city. Star of the show is, of course, the 60,000 sq ft casino, packed with table games, more than 700 slots, and keno. But high-rollers (and fruit machine fans) have more distractions in store. As well as essentials like WiFi, free parking, and a top downtown location (the nearby Reno Amtrak Station gives easy city access), you get extras like a luxury spa and fitness facilities, headline entertainment from concerts to cabaret, and 7 dining options, including laid-back joints like Starbucks, fine dining venues like Harrah’s Steak House, and the one-of-a-kind Hash House A Go Go, whose huge portions of comfort food appeared on TV’s Man v Food.

Our bed was broken. The carpet is filthy. The entire room is a dump. Looked like someone threw up on the bathroom floor and it wasn't cleaned. We called the front desk a d they didn't have a manager avalible and wouldn't provide any compensation. Stay anywhere but here...they charge premium prices and provide a dump.

Now I know everyone has heard me speak on Harrah's hotel. I mean the chains of commands in these facilities should be very proud. i want to commend the excellent customer service that they provide for their guest. They do wait on you hand, and foot. keep up the good work, and see you soon.

The elevators went down again had to take stairs down 9 floors from the 6th floor down all the doors were locked, got to the ground floor and it was locked when I got head of security and voiced to him what happened he tells me I took the wrong stairway . It said exit so I asked him to show me the correct exit to get out of the building if there was a fire ... He refused to show me didn't have the time... Well after a long and very disrespectful talk he finally took me back to show me the way out... well seems the at the bottom floor you have to go to the left no signs saying this but another hallway to exit to the street they need to put signs saying turn around keep walking and there is another door to exit . A n exit sign would be nice... Read less

The facility is very outdated, it is obvious that no money is being used to update this facility. There are not many choices for lunch or breakfast dining. Also there is not much for entertainment and the swimming pool is generic.

The people are very friendly and it's seems pretty calm and a very nice area to visit. The check in at the kiosk is very fast and easy. The buffet in Harrah's is very delicious the steak was the best. The prices are very reasonable.
