Harrah's Reno

Reno, Lake Tahoe

The hotel

Part of Reno’s famed leisure scene, Harrah’s Reno is more than a hotel – it’s a mega-casino, an entertainment destination, and a landmark in the city. Star of the show is, of course, the 60,000 sq ft casino, packed with table games, more than 700 slots, and keno. But high-rollers (and fruit machine fans) have more distractions in store. As well as essentials like WiFi, free parking, and a top downtown location (the nearby Reno Amtrak Station gives easy city access), you get extras like a luxury spa and fitness facilities, headline entertainment from concerts to cabaret, and 7 dining options, including laid-back joints like Starbucks, fine dining venues like Harrah’s Steak House, and the one-of-a-kind Hash House A Go Go, whose huge portions of comfort food appeared on TV’s Man v Food.

Not real fond of the Kiosk system of booking into the room. This time we were put on the lowest floor ever, room 623... That said the patio was a equalizing touch and hey the room could use some refreshing and a larger TV & faster internet. Pool was also closed which was disappointing, we don't gamble day & night.

Had a great time and casino was great but rooms need some upgrading. I understand they are in the process. Should be fabulous when that happens. Fine dining restaurant in hotel was fabulous and highly recommended. Show was good and Limo trip to Tahoe was awesome!

Rooms old, dirty and dingy. When I asked for a clean room the front desk girl said they were booked. I find that hard to believe even though it was St. Patrick's weekend. This place should be closed and completely remodeled. Some of the guest were just hanging out during the evening hours so I assumed that they were locals. I will never stay… Read more

This place is a dump! I wouldn’t even stay here for free as I would have to pay the resort fees and that is too pricey for this dump. Got in late, went to the Hash House on property. Nobody was even in the place and it took 30 minutes to get scrambled eggs. The water in our room did not work it came out extremely scalding no cold at al. Had to… Read more

Broken tile, filthy walls, torn wallpaper. Just dirty, old and falling apart. Terrible customer service. Not even an apology that I had to move rooms twice! Not even an offer to comp room. Read less

Total experience was the most horrific stay of any casino hotel I ever been to. I am a Platinum Player with Cesar’s entertainment. Been to hotel casinos all over the world. From hotel services to casino play was terrible.
