Peppermill Resort & Spa

Nevada, USA

The hotel

What started as a simple coffee lounge, opened by two friends in 1971, has evolved into one of Reno’s most spectacular destination hotels. Winning multiple awards for its gaming, dining, and entertainment, Peppermill Reno’s one of those places you could stay inside for months – if you do venture out, you’re right in the shopping and dining district, near downtown Reno, with complimentary parking if you fancy exploring beyond the city limits. Besides the 24-hour casino and Game Lab, featuring retro arcade machines, you get 2 stunning Tuscan-flavoured pools, a 3 storey spa with secret garden, complimentary WiFi, EDGE Nightclub, copious lounges and bars, and 10 restaurants. Dining experiences range from the sublime to the ridiculous (often simultaneously): think tucking into seafood under jellyfish lights, or dining on prime steaks by a virtual aquarium. Every detail is deliciously ostentatious.

Though nice... it just seems they can't accommodate the smallest of requests. We are local and do stay-cations monthly. Spend money to enjoy ourselves so it's a disappointment when the resort doesn't put guests first. Time to try something new..I heard the Atlantis is amazing.

Have stayed here a few times in the Tuscan Tower. While convenient for our purposes, the rooms are VERY dark with poor lighting overall. However, there is an overhead light over the bed for reading so that is very helpful. The rooms could really use an update. Mattresses are old and lumpy not a comfortable night’s sleep. Bathroom floor is shiny marble which makes it VERY slippery! On one occasion there were minor maintenance issues which gave the room a very shabby appearance. In general, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would probably continue to stay here if the rooms were updated. Next time will try the GSR as it recently underwent a remodel. Read less

I am staying at the casino for a business trade show. The staff is amazing and friendly. The dealers are fun to play along with. I even got to talk to a couple of pit bosses. Pete and m ke from New York stand out. Mike was great to talk to in the middle of the night while the house was taking my money. It was great experience and would highly… Read more

I attend an annual conference at this facility and love it! The rooms are so spacious and beautiful. The bathrooms are huge with large jetted soaker tubs as well as a separate large shower. The employees are all very nice and helpful. The over all facility is super clean.

everything you expect to have in a large hotel casino. the rooms we have stayed in are well appointed and clean. nice pool area, great restaurants, killer happy hrs, awesome spa! slots seem very tight... but the tables are comfortable and well staffed. if you want the best Reno has to offer, this is where you want to be.
