This hotel was part of a Shearings Coach Tour called Colours of New England. The hotel was Ok but had a very confusing layout. However, it was one of the few which was acceptable on this tour. We stayed two nights.

If you go when kids are out of school, even during the week, be prepared. The hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable. I believe each room has a mini fridge, safe and a small coffee maker. (Not a Keurig at this time) I believe they give you a set up for 2. What's nice is having the restaurant hearth & kettle on site. We eat breakfast and… Read more

We eat breakfast and lunch and then we get a snack like chicken tenders later in the day. I just call the order in and pick it up. Read less

We loved the Cape Codder. I went there with my daughter and grandchildren. The water park was so much fun for all of us. The lazy river was perfect for grandmothers. We weren’t expecting deluxe accommodations but we weren’t aware of the size or condition of the “resort”. Upon check in at 4:00pm our hallway had at least 3 piles of dirty plates of food outside of doors of rooms we passed. We were also charged an extra $75/ day to use the water park booking through this site. (I spoke to 2 hotel employees who… Read more

We rented a three bedroom suite over Christmas week. The suite was perfect. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, flat screen tv, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. The centrally located living room was spacious and well furnished. The kitchen area, while small, was completely functional and well outfitted with cutlery, plates, etc. This place is really designed for families with children. It has a large indoor water park with a number of water slides, a lazy river, and places for very young kids. It was richly decorated inside and out. Inside, the halls were lined with larger than life nutcracker statues, a large model train display, a space set aside for kids to sit on a live Santa's lap. In the interior courtyard there was a very large Santa's Village that was gorgeous when lit at night. There is also an outdoor, heated, salt water pool and large hot tub. The only negative was that the two restaurants did not have adequate staffing. I assume that this was the result of difficulty in obtaining help during the off season and not the fault of the venue.
