Just returning from a trip for the fourth my son brought us on. I cannot say enough for the customer service as we had 2 rooms and my son and daughter in-law booked a residence room facing the pool with a balcony for my 3 year old grandson. Upon check in they were given a room with a parking lot view and balcony slider that wouldn’t open all the way. After a phone call to Rasheen and sue my son was credited for a portion of his room and ours for the mix up and inconvenience. This is a stand up establishment with supporting customer service as things happen and they made it right! Thank you rasheen and sue for all your help as my kids love your establishment and you made sure that continues!!!! .... highest recommendation for companies that support loyal customers ❤️ Read less

I have been going to the Cape Codder since 1990. I have determined that after my most recent visit in July of 2019 that cinched it for me. I have been going to the Cape Codder since 1990. I have determined that after my most recent visit in July of 2019 that cinched it for me. The place which was my home away from home will be no longer since they have expanded their business model to include a water park. Sadly this is no longer the close knit family resort formerly owned by Tom Flatly. Its over crowded, noisy and just over the top. Rooms are ridiculously overpriced sort of like Disneyland. Needless to say save your money go to a bed and breakfast or a smaller resort. Read less

This hotel is run down and old. The water park smells of chlorine so strong that it has to be dangerous for your lungs. The mattress smelled moldy and the paint was coming off the ceiling in the bathroom. They don't even have do not disturb signs for your door.

Cape Codder. My family used to like it here. But we slowly realized that we encountered numerous issues, that collapsed our good experiences here. Good things here? Eh. The water park is somewhat fun. They have nice holiday displays. And the rooms are pretty good. It’s also mostly clean and feels like your in a real resort. But the bad things that we have encountered are more than enough to make us not go back. 1- Prices Food, arcade games and overall night stay. They are all expensive. If your looking to waste $40 bucks at the arcade just to get a lollipop and a rubber ball. You will love this place! 2-Waterpark At least the new one, you instantly catch a chronic cough. The chlorine is overpowering and you will be having a horrible coughing fit second after you walk in. Weather your in the water or not! Grandparents Beware! 3- Our worst experience ever We stayed in a nice room. Paid an unreasonably fortune for a single night. We are woken at 6 AM. By a couple screaming and pounding next door. It sounded like physical assault to us. It was horrific. We quickly packed our bags and were out of there within minutes. To the front desk we go. They had 0 sympathy. The manager didn’t care and was incredibly rude. They didn’t even apologize or make any effort to do anything in return. We have come to this place three or four times. And our last stay. Was officially our last! These issues should be thought upon and fixed. The resort isn’t bad. But it’s incredibly commercialized and mazeish. But. If your looking for fun. You CAN find it here. The water parks are pretty fun. Read less

We have been here several times and have enjoyed it. We also enjoyed this trip but there were a few issues that bothered me this trip. We were early arriving , so we were told that we could go to the water park and we would be called or texted when our room was ready. I never got the text. When I went back to the desk, I was told that our room had been ready for a while and he didn't know why we weren't notified. That was a bit annoying as we could have been in our room earlier. The second issue was the amount of chlorine used in the water park. I totally get that they have to use extra chlorine due to the amount of people using the water park. But from the minute we walked into the park, our eyes watered and it ma de the whole experience unpleasant. We definately spent less time in the waterpark than we usually would due to that. It may even be something that keeps us from coming back in the future. Definately more ventilation is needed, on both sides but most definately on the "older" side. We had never been there on a weekend before so we were not suprised that is was crowded. But not so crowded that we couldn't find tubes for the lazy river or go down the slides. Read less
