Recently a friend and I made a day trip to the island of Nantucket, Mass. and not wanting to drive back home to R.I. in the dark, we booked a night’s stay at the Hyannis Harbor Hotel conveniently located across from the HyLine ferry dock. It turned out to be a great decision. The hotel’s parking area is made safe by accessing with our hotel pass key and we were also able to park fairly close to our room. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean, spacious and well lit. A fridge, coffeemaker, safe and iron were provided. Our biggest surprise were the hotel’s plush, cozy bathrobes awaiting us. The lobby with its fireplace and comfortable seating was perfect for relaxing and looking out to the harbor. Shanice, the concierge, was professional, polite and very helpful. Being women “of a certain age”, we don’t have fancy gadgets or apps so we asked Shanice if she would print out the directions for our drive home in the morning. She very kindly had the directions ready for us when we returned from dinner. I would not hesitate to recommend the Hyannis Harbor Hotel and would definitely book with them again. Read less

My gal pals and I had an awesome weekend get away.. Each fall we plan a weekend away. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We had a great view from our rooms which were very clean. We took the ferry to Nantucket so convient to just walk the across the street..

The website looked great and they do have a newer building, but we stayed in the main old "rehabbed" building. I don't want to go too far, but we will never go back or recommend this place unless you need another place to crash beside your car. They need to demolish the building a start over. I don't want to go too far, but we will never go back or recommend this place unless you need another place to crash beside your car. They need to demolish the building a start over. There was even a cupola that sounded like 300 birds were living in it. The is an old motel with some superficial looking renovation. I can't blame the staff as they were very nice and not their fault. Whoever owns this hotel needs to make a real investment for it to work. I would have given it a zero or one if it was not for the staff. Read less

We stayed her for 1 night as part of a 3 week road trip. We got there a bit early but they let us check in - was so nice to be able to drop off our bags before we went exploring the area. The hotel had a great first impression, lobby was nice and clean and check in was so fast and easy - and the staff were very friendly. We had a 1 bedroom suite and it was awesome and very big. It was clean and the views of the harbor were beautiful. It was fun watching the ferry boats coming and going. The bathroom was so big it was insane. Huge soaking tun and great walk in shower. Double vanity and tons of towels and toiletries. You can hear people slamming doors in the hallway - but no noise at all from other rooms. It was very quiet at night. Bed was super comfy and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave. About a 15 minutes walk to the shops on main street and super close to the Steamship Authority for us to catch our ferry the next day. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area! Read less
