This is a timeshare-type property at Britterige Village, walked down 1.5 flights to our patio level room which unfortunately smells as musty as a basement. Sparsely decorated 1 bedroom unit with a small kitchenette which has a few, very basic utensils plates and 2 coffee cups. Looks clean although we were advised at check in that they currently don't have housekeeping due to COVID, but we could request a room cleaning with 24 hours advance notice. Unloaded the dishwasher so we could find glasses to have a drink. The overwhelming musty odor was worse within a few minutes, it was gross. Called front desk about the odor - they had us pack up the room, move our things back out to the car, drive up to the main desk down the road, and they gave us a new room - right next door to the prior room, but a floor higher. Drove back to move back in,unload the car, unload the dishwasher to get glasses....and cannot find an ice cube tray in the freezer..... and there is no ice available on the property "due to COVID". Really not at all what we expected. Now we can drive out, again, to buy a bag of ice. Not a good start to what should be a relaxing weekend getaway. Read less

We arrived rather late on Friday evening to learn that we were not actually staying at the hotel but at arbor villages which was very far away from the hotel (actually one of the furthest from the hotel). The room smelled funky, no dishes available for coffee/drinking glasses, our mattress had a hole in it, and
