Room served its purpose , at check in everyone seemed nice , and it was clean . You could also smell the beautiful ocean air . I had read there was a shuttle to town and the front desk staff said it’s no longer running for the season, but gave me some taxi numbers and of course uber/lyft . I got ready in my room , slept there , and took a shower and left . When I went to check out I asked for a receipt she said Groupon provides it to you . I said ok so their is no additional fees she said no , but let me check . She said just the “Destination fee “ of $22.89 . I said what is that a tourism tax she said no for the resort amenities . I said what amenities? She said the pool (which I said is closed cuz it’s November ) , wifi (no one told me there was WiFi so I never used it or knew about it ) , the Shuttle (which was not running during my stay and cost me $14 lyft into town and a $8 taxi back ) and parking ok I used that but when your outside the main town area you shouldn’t be charging your guests a parking fee . Up until check out I thought I might come back next summer during the warmer months but now that I feel nickel-and dimed I don’t know , I might go back and stay at the Sand Castle Inn since their amenities are indoors at least . Skip this place, very pricey. Then they charge you a $20.00/night destination fee. When I asked what that was for she said for the pool, WIFI and parking. It was October, pool was closed. And no other hotel in that area charges for WiFi. And charging for PARKING>??? No breakfast was included, it was available but limited and expensive. Room was… Read more

I stayed at the Harbor Hotel Provincetown over Labor Day weekend. We decided to pay for an upgraded “Bay View” room so we had a nice view. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were honestly disappointed. This is more of a motel than a hotel. We checked into our room and calling this a “Bay View” room is a stretch. These rooms overlook a parking lot and across the street is the ocean. Not at all what I imagined. The rooms are spacious but old and could stand to be updated. The bathroom is extremely small with almost no walking space. The location is about 25 minutes from downtown Commercial Street and not exactly an easy walk especially at night. At the time we stayed at the hotel they were offering shuttle service via golf cart which we appreciated. The one pro is of this hotel is the pool area. They have a nice pool, plenty of areas to sit, a bar, music as well as fire pits at night. If you are looking to make a trip to P-Town I would skip this hotel. While I did like the pool area the room was very disappointing. Read less

Very disapointed in our 2 night stay here. This is a motel not a hotel. Not very helpful staff in reception, no breakfast available, windows you couldnt see through. Had a renovated sea view room, but very poorly done. The cleaning and cleaning staff was good. Pretty nice back yard with chairs and bonfires, but no sea view from there.

We were thrilled to be able to walk the beach at low tide just before sunset. We were pleasantly impressed with the retro style of a once coastal motel now transformed and updated with all the essential room amenities as well as a restaurant, pool, and fire pit. Most important our room and the premises were impeccably clean. I would absolutely stay again! Read less
