We got lost on the way and received a phone call,"are you still coming ?" at 8 :30 p.m.(when we got there,we received our room and then went to see where the whale watch would be leaving from the next day.got pulled over by the police, who said i was weaving,i told them we had just arrived at our destination and had been driving for 9 hours,so i was pretty tired.they escorted us back to our hotel.we went in and went to bed.the next day we got awakened @ 7:45 by the fire alarm.Mia is in a wheelchair,so i threw on a sundress, got her into the chair asfast as possible, threw a robe over her and got her out.we met another guest in the parking lot(from Dubai! you would think they would have had enough cash to stay in a better place!)and asked if they knew what was going on.15 minutes later i talked to a workman and he said it was just a test for before the start of the season,so we went back in,and tried to get a few more hours sleep.as soon as we both were in the bed the alarm blared again for a minute, then stopped. boy were we peeved! i got up and tried to take a shower, the water flooded into the bedroom area next to the bed.i called maintenance, they did something, said it was okay, and left.we went out,had a great time on the town and whale watch, got back at midnight.Mia managed to somehow clog the toilet,so we had to wait til the next morning to get it fixed, and 'improvise'in the meantime.8 a.m. the phone wakes us up,"can you move your car to the back parking lot?we need to paint the lines in the spaces." "no,my fiancee is in a wheelchair,it has to stay until we leave for the day." "when will that be ?" "by noon, and we'll be out til around midnight." Mia gets up to take a shower(we had to wait til 9 for the toilet to get fixed) and it floods the room AGAIN.this time i saw where the water was coming from and when the guy came for the toilet,i showed him where the shower was flooding from, and THAT finally was fixed.we went out and had a great time again and came back at midnight like we had said. THE LINES IN THE PARKING LOT STILL HADN"T BEEN PAINTED!the next morning we got another call asking when we would be out so they could paint the lot. we were out by,i think 11 a.m. for checkout.we had a great time in town and left for home after supper.( i don't know what i did,but the trip home was 4 hours shorter than it took to arrive.) My friend and I booked this hotel, sight-unseen and it turned out to be a great choice. Simple and clean hotel which is not too far from the center of town...25 minute walk. great views and staff. Rich who greeted us upon arrival was especially welcoming and extremely helpful.

Fraudulent website. FAQ on their website says cancellation within 7 days, but it’s a lie. They say 30 days and even if there is a record of trying to cancel before 30 days they will charge you for whole visit, even if you cancel weeks ahead. I was able to get half charge refunded but they still got away with stealing 300$. Then they sent me a… Read more

I paid extra for a "bay view" room that faced a busy parking lot, which was very misleading. We couldn't see this view without people staring into our room. My reservation included $20/night for an "amenity fee". Their website stated that this included a $5 food credit, bottled water, and a tote bag. My reservation included $20/night for an "amenity fee". Their website stated that this included a $5 food credit, bottled water, and a tote bag. When we inquired about this, we were told that information was "out of date" and the fee was for pool renovations. I guess my $375/night did not cover their renovations? What a scam! The worst part - the room smelled musty and moldy - the floors were constantly wet, no ventilation at all, and we had mildew growing on the bathroom ceiling. Housekeeping took all the washcloths the first day and did not replenish them. I called for more and they never came. Every item of our clothing in the room smelled like mildew after our stay. Disgusting, terrible hotel. Read less

I had a wonderful time at Harbor Hotel Provincetown. This trip was just a relaxing get away nothing planned trip where we ventured into Provincetown center. I brought my 7 year old boarder collie and she just fell in love with the beach across the street from the hotel. Then when things got too hot it was a short walk back to the cool air conditioned room. Rooms were very comfy and better than what I was expecting. The staff were all very kind and accommodating. The bartenders were very entertaining when grabbing an evening drink. Also a big thanks to Rich at the concierge desk he was very kind in greeting me and my pup always offering treats when we were walking through. He also enjoyed the show of tricks my pup put on for all the treats. Read less
