I had asked after the first night that they repair the AC but they did not. I asked the couple in the room next to ours about their stay and they were experiencing the same nightmare. This place is not just a rip off at 400 dollars a night, but is an extremely unhealthy as well as uncomfortable stay. I am also letting the town's BOH know about the unhealthy conditions at this hotel. Read less

We had an issue with our original reservation and they went above and beyond to resolve their mistake. We loved our stay so much that we are returning again this summer. Looking forward to experiencing their generous hospitality once more.

There were a few, minor annoyances, but overall I had a great stay and would stay again/recommend the hotel. I did a Sunday thru Wednesday stay and took advantage of a $99/nt. rate they had offered serval months prior to my stay, when Covid was still a concern. This is an amazing price for the week leading up to the 4th of July, especially in a nay view room. The hotel charges a $30/day “resort fee”, but I’m not entirely sure what it covered. There was no daily maid service, no breakfast foods (coffee was offered in the lobby between about 8-10am), and the pool has a bar and grill that should more than pay for the pool upkeep. They had a ton of bikes, but charged, what seemed like a lot, to use them. Bike “rentals” seems like something that’s ripe to be included in a resort fee. There was a free golf cart shuttle to the center of town . It always seemed to leave late when I was on time and leave early when I was running late! Honestly, although it’s the same amount in the end, I’d rather have paid $129/nt vs paying a fee I don’t feel was worth it. Another local hotel with a pool but no bar/grill does not charge such a fee and provided a to-go continental bfast for 2 throughout the pandemic. In the summer months you can flag down the municipal bus out front and ride for $2/trip or $6/day. The room was nice, comfy bed. One thing I noticed was that the room was dark, even with every light on. Especially the sink/bathroom area. The vanity is backlit which doesn’t throw off a ton of light. My neighbors apparently broke their little end table, and it sat outside their room door from Monday AM until I left at noon on Wednesday. The room had a chair, ottoman, and small side table. A small 2-4 person dining table in that space would be much more useful. The view of the bay was great and the room had a pull down shade that kept the sun and prying eyes out of my room l, but allowed for a great view of the bay. The pool area was super nice. Very well maintained. They had several separate sections with nice outdoor furniture and fire pits. The grill food was good, as were the drinks. Basic stuff, burgers, etc. The food/drink prices were comparable to what you’d pay in town this time of year so the convenience factor was nice. I did buy a few drinks there, but I didn’t like that I wasn’t able to bring my own food or drinks if I had wanted to, or so the sign said. I did see folks that looked like they had brought their own though, so they don’t appear to be strict. Ample parking, I never had to search long for a spot. Just across the street is some beach access on the bay, and a great walking spot at low tide. You can seemingly walk a mile out to sea and find tons of crabs, clams, and scallops along the way. Great for shell finding too. Oh, and they are kid and pet friendly. I think that about covers it. I would definitely stay again and definitely recommend the Harbor Hotel. Read less

I felt overall sad during my stay because I felt I wasted so much money and felt ashamed at my choice. I paid over $500 for a Friday bay view floor room stay and I was confused. Keep in mind there is a resort fee too. But the the front desk was REALLY nice and let us check in early. PROS: really nice pool with bar. Really nice room sink. Bed was comfortable. Lighting and room color very inviting. Internet works well. Beach was right across the road with an amazing low tide you can walk out on. Bus stop right outside hotel to town. Golf cart shuttle service provided by hotel into town. Or a 20 minute walk into town. Cheap and efficient coin operated laundry. Firepits. Games. Hammocks. CONS: Breakfast was black coffee and you had to buy the milk. Cabana bar was closed during the rain - but for paying this much for a room and resort fee why not keep your guests happy and the drinks flowing? Room can be considered an expensive locker room peep show (maybe an absolutely brilliant dating concept) but if you're just trying to get the view, you might have to put the blinders down. The floors followed the locker room aesthetic with matching trash bins. Along with the style was a very small bathroom. The room was overall small for two doubles. Shower ran mostly luke warm on the hottest setting. You can't use the tub setting. You can hear your neighbors all around. OVERALL: Maybe it was the rain that shined the light on the truth of the overall value of this place. I can see how this can be an amazing stay for MANY people - but I suggest another hotel - the Sea Glass Inn is great! Read less

I really liked the hotel location. It's 3 miles from most attractions. across the street is the beach and at low tide is so much fun. Low tide we found crabs and was able to walk really far out. There is a heated pool and fire pits at night. The room is really dated.
