Was in town for an overnight work trip and my co-worker and I decided to stay at this hotel. Check-in was smooth and the staff was welcoming. The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is in close proximity to restaurants in and around Mystic. Overall, the hotel was nice and would stay there again if and when I return to the area.

Our stay was very nice. Hotel is lovely. Staff was very polite and engaging. The only negative was the shuttle service, which was unreliable. Location was great. Very convenient to attractions, shopping, and restaurants.

Old property. Stains on the carpets in the corridors. Whenever they did renovate last was done poorly; a good 1" swath of the old wall vinyl visible where they cut the new vinyl short at the bathroom vanity. Bad sealant job around fixtures. Old property. Stains on the carpets in the corridors. Whenever they did renovate last was done poorly; a good 1" swath of the old wall vinyl visible where they cut the new vinyl short at the bathroom vanity. Bad sealant job around fixtures. Low quality construction and upkeep. Disgusting strong air freshener smell in the vestibule. Check in and go to our room. Get in our room, looks tired. "What's that noise?" Great...they stuck us right near the elevator. Back down to desk to ask to switch...can't, they're full. How about letting guests know when they check in that you've stuck them in one of the worst rooms in the building and giving them the option to cancel, get a reduced, fee, whatever. As we're walking back to our room, we start noticing all the loud/screaming kids everywhere. Even the kids that weren't alone were loud since their parents didn't seem to find it inappropriate behavior to run around the inside of a hotel. Not entirely the hotel's fault, but the staff should ask them to be quieter for the sake of other guests. Slept horrible due to the elevator running all night (literally, all night long...like Lionel Richie). Woke up at 4:30am (because of the elevator) and just wanted to leave. Upon checkout, the host never asked how our stay was. We shouldn't be surprised based on the cleanliness and inattentiveness of the staff. We travel a lot, and this is one of the worst places we've ever had the misfortune of staying at. This is a Hilton, not a lesser-tier brand and I expected MUCH more than what this property offered. We will never stay here again and will make sure to let others know as well. Not a great way to start our anniversary vacation. Read less
