We had suite 426. Best in the hotel. Huge views. Big rooms. Nice balcony. Fireplace. Massage chair. Two big TVs. A cleaner who was proud of her work and did great job. Nice people who solved problems when they arose. Close to everything but far enough away from he crowds. A little quirky in some ways but the views are stupendous. … Read more

The room we were booked in, though spacious, was a bit dated and needed refurbishing. We noticed dust too, on the legs of the table in the room. Continental breakfast was ok and had the basics. The main dining area was outside the hotel area, and you would have to do a bit of walking up a slight incline. Bar Harbor has a free shuttle service… Read more

The main dining area was outside the hotel area, and you would have to do a bit of walking up a slight incline. Bar Harbor has a free shuttle service called the Island Explorer, which took you around town and had stops at some hotels. It didn't have a stop at this hotel. You'd have to get off at the hotel beside it. Read less
