Beautiful room, nice staff, and excellent location. Have stayed at several hotels on Portland and this was our favorite so far. Restaurants, bars, tours, and more are all just steps away. Highly recommend!

Great experience, as always. This property is superbly managed in its lovely Old Port location. The rooms are excellent and the staff is super helpful. The pool and fitness room are great, and their breakfast is quality and included with a Hyatt membership. Overall we love this hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for a long Valentine's day weekend. We were last here about 3 years ago and due to getting a good deal online decided to stay here again. Not only is the location great but one of the cheapest parking lots in the city is a few blocks away (about a 10 min walk). We got a room on the 5th floor and usually when I reserve a room on a 3rd party site I expect to get the worst view but to my surprise the view was pretty nice. We were on the harbor side and it was just high enough to be above the buildings and you could see the harbor. If you get a room on the 6th or 7th floor I imagine you would have a great view. The room was a good size and has some nice features like a fridge (for storing all the great Maine micro brews), a noise machine, and several outlets to charge devices. It is a newer hotel but and everything was still looking like new. You could find some wear here and there if you looked hard enough but the couch, carpet, etc had no stains or noticeable sign of wear. I think the grout in the shower was the only thing that showed that it wasn't new and impossible to totally get clean. The big minuses would be that there was no curtain to totally block out the light. They had blackout shades however there was enough gap at the edges to let in a good amount of light. Especially this time of year, and the side that we were on, the sun was blazing in the morning. Plus the bed was only a few feet from the window so it was a little bright for our liking. Also, the toilet sounded like a jet engine when flushed but even though it sounded like it was powerful it often took a few flushes to get any contents down. Lastly glass sliding doors are a good idea on a bathroom so you better be very comfortable with your partner. They did serve breakfast but we did not have it since there are just too many great restaurants in Portland that we prefer to give them a try. It did look good from what we saw and if we were there longer I am sure we would have tried it. So you can't beat the location for exploring the port area and other than a few small things it is a hotel we will probably look to again the next time we make our way to Portland. Read less

This hotel sits just a short 5 minute walk from the old port piers. We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony. It was beautiful and overlooked the harbor. In the morning I watched the sun rise and in the afternoon enjoyed sitting outside relaxing in the sun's warmth. Everything about the room was wonderful. Be advised that the hotel does not offer room service so if you're hoping for a lazy morning with breakfast delivered or a late night snack brought to your room, better call DoorDash. The front desk folks are lovely as was the rest of the staff. We did get quite a laugh watching a valet driver try to get a very large pick up truck out of park into drive. The location is perfect. It's close to all the fun restaurants, bars, and shops. For what we paid, I would have expected a higher level of service, but lesson learned to perhaps research a bit better going forward, but regardless... we had a great time and would definitely stay again.
