I stay at a lot of Hyatts but this one was the best. The staff was friendly and accomadating and could not have been more helpful. The location is perfect for explaoring the Old Port and you can walk to everything downtown. A great stay in a great hotel.

Very nice hotel- provided what you expect from a Hyatt property. Great location, very convenient to old port and many restaurants and bars. Lobby felt clean and they did a lot of safety measures for Covid19. Parking lot was a 1/2 block away, but you could do luggage drop off right by the lobby. Lot was an additional $25/night but allowed unlimited… Read more

I travel all over the world and to be honest this is the worst experience that I have ever had with a hotel room. The rooms were a disaster and very dirty. I checked in close to midnight and got put in a room that looked like a motel vs. a hotel. The bathroom had hair everywhere and on all of the towels. The towels had yellow stains all over them. The bathroom sink was cracked. I requested and got moved to a second room was just as terrible but due to the fact that it was late. I just stayed in the room. The next day it was so bad that I requested cleaning products from the house cleaning in order to clean the room myself. I got moved to a third room , which was supposed to be an upgrade and the same issue. I just ended up cleaning the room myself. I complained to the front desk four times about the condition of the room and not once heard from a manager. The COVID-19 precautions do not exist at this hotel. Employees routinely walk around with no mask on, there is no hand sanitizer and I was informed by the receptionist that they let people use the gym , but couldn't tell me the cleaning procedures put in place. Needless to say I did not use the gym. The hotel is way overpriced. I paid almost $350 for a dirty disaster. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything. I did not sleep very well at all because you could literally hear people running down the hall at all time of night. I actually stayed another night in Portland once my time at Hyatt was up and it was relief to be able to sleep in a clean space and have courteous employees greet me. If you value your health, clean and updated rooms, nice employees do not stay here. Read less

The Hyatt is centrally located in Old Port and provides a great spot for walking to and from other locations. While a clean hotel, it lacked a few things I would have liked. The bathroom had no fan or magnifying mirror that you often find in other chains. It was hard to apply makeup as you can't get close to the mirror ( the toilet and sink… Read more

The bathroom had no fan or magnifying mirror that you often find in other chains. It was hard to apply makeup as you can't get close to the mirror ( the toilet and sink counter keep you too far away). The breakfast was disappointing - the egg sandwiches were cold in the middle. The staff at the front desk was overall very nice and helpful. Read less

This Hyatt place is in a great location, located in the middle of shops and restaurants. The parking garage is not connected to the hotel but about a 1 minute walk from the lobby. If you have a lot of luggage, there is a covered loading area next to the lobby. Parking is $25 a night with in/out priviledges. Breakfast is provided but on a smaller… Read more

If you have a lot of luggage, there is a covered loading area next to the lobby. Parking is $25 a night with in/out priviledges. Breakfast is provided but on a smaller scale and the hotel was clean. Did not hear any noise from the street at night even though there was a lot of people out on a Friday night. Higher floor have a view of the ports. Read less
