We stayed 2 nights in July. It is charming and in a great location. We did not need Housekeeping and frankly, I’m happy they aren’t doing that for short stays. Life is different now. I don’t change my sheets at home everyday, I don’t expect that at a Hotel. You are paying for charm, location, Decor and staff. Covid has upended things… Read more

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We had a King Jr. overlooking the inner Courtyard and it was lovely. Quiet and peaceful. Meal in Bluefin was very good and simple. Everyone we met had a smile on their face. Tip these people. They work hard. Read less

Stayed here for a few days this weekend and really liked the hotel. The common spaces and our room felt clean and new, and the staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The location is great: you're right near Commercial Street and the Waterfront and within several blocks' of so many of the best restaurants in the city. The in-house bar and restaurant were nice to have, too. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was well furnished overall, though the doors weren't quite sound-proof enough. And the water pressure was amazingly strong. Just one or two issues. One was price. The rates felt a bit high for what it was, but that was probably due to high demand: the city was all but overrun by tourists this summer, and it wasn't really possible to find a better deal at any other hotel. Given the location and amenities at this hotel, we could deal with it. The other was an issue with booking: we first booked online and then decided to push our booking back by some weeks. We called and changed it on the phone, but then didn't receive a confirmation email for a long time, and when we did the dates were off by a few days, and they couldn't switch to the originally requested dates at the same rate. Fortunately our schedule was flexible and we were able to accommodate the dates we got, but this was a little frustrating and might have caused more problems under more circumstances. Even in these interactions, however, everyone was friendly and as helpful as they could be throughout, and I would still recommend this hotel to others! Read less

While I understand due to COVID they weren't serving breakfast (you had to order it packaged) and there was no cleaning service, we had the opposite experience in Bar Harbor where the hotel there was fully functional and there were alot more people staying there. There was a coffee tray and glasses left out in the room down our hall, we noticed it when we arrived to our room and the same tray stayed there for the entire 3 days. Maybe they didn't have enough staff. The rooms were clean, a little dated. Our windows were old and the bathroom lights would flicker off when we were in the shower. It was an okay hotel but for the price not worth it, however the location was very convenient. Read less
