This was our 5th year using the John Carver for our annual church women’s retreat. The event coordinator was so attentive to all of our detailed needs. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. A group of 14 friends went to the Dinner Theater at the John Carver Inn on 3/2/19. We were celebrating a birthday and found this to be a really fun way to celebrate. We spoke to the hotel ahead of time, and they had a table for 14 set aside for us. The food was really good and the show was great! We saw "Whose Wedding is it Anyway". We had… Read more

We had a lot of laughs, the actors were awesome. The only suggestions I would make would be to have more staff making drinks in the bar beforehand. We arrived a little early to have a drink and the bartender was swamped. Would definitely go again and recommend to others. Read less

We went for the pool and it did not disappoint. Our children (7, 5, and 1) all enjoyed time in the pool. The slide is perfect for kids and the theming is lots of fun. The vacation week activities for kids were outstanding. While we were there our kids enjoyed cookie decorating, an excellent mad science show, and an evening movie. There was also Bingo that we didn't make it to. The location of the hotel is great. We visited the Pilgrim Hall Museum, which would have been a short walk if the weather had been warmer. All of the historical Plymouth spots are close by and the Main Street area is lovely. In the future we would stay a second night and explore the area around the hotel. The building itself is kept up well. It is on the older side but our room was clean and service was very good. We used the $10 coupon given to us for the Hearth n Kettle restaurant that is in the hotel. We were not impressed with the food and would probably dine elsewhere next time but that was the only critique we had of our stay. Read less
