The party was three hours total with two hours were reserved for swimming which was plenty of time. Pool was extremely clean and nice and warm for the kids. The waterslide was so fun & the kids (&some adults) LOVED it! We then had reserved a function room for cake & pizza. The room was clean and all set up for our party with everything we had asked for. The food was delivered quickly and servers were very organized & could not have been nicer. We had a lot of kids in our group and they made sure we had everything we needed & got everything the kids asked for. We will absolutely book again, a great experience with kind staff, so fun! Our room still had food in the fridge, empty soda bottles on the floor, and clothes from the previous guest. Good luck trying to use the pool. Hotel charges $20/per pers to the public to use the pool.

We recently visited John Carver Inn, this past weekend. I traveled with a 7 & 3 year old. Let's start with the positive! We were able to check in early & dinner at Hearth & Kettle was delicious & our server there was Great! Now the negative, once we arrived at the pool area, I asked the life guards where the life jackets were? He started looking high and low, and then replied, 'we must not have any.' So you have a pool geared towards kids and no life jackets? (I have been to multiple indoor pools with the kids and they all have had life jackets) If they aren't going to have life jackets, they should probably post that on their website, so parents can be aware and bring their own. It was extremely chilly in the pool and inside the pool area. The pool definitely didn't feel heated. When I looked around, the life guards had opened the huge sliding doors! (The temp outside was about 12-14 degrees). No wonder why it was cold. We were all shivering! And lastly, which I know you don't have much control over is the noise of your neighbors at night. The walls must be extremely thin...we could hear their TV, their conversation and lastly them snoring! I did see signs that the Inn was going through renovations, hopefully they change some of these problems. When we checked out, I did bring these to the attention of the front desk, and he did apologize. Read less

I did a girls trip here with 3 friends and we had an amazing time. We did spa treatments. It was by far the best massage I have ever gotten. The staff was wonderful... accommodating and very helpful. I can't wait to go back!

Came in with my Grandmother the other day and got great service from Molly our server. She was very polite and friendly which made for a great experience. The omelet breakfast we had was fantastic and came to us very quickly.
