Lovely hotel with easy access to the historical sites and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again. The hotel must be a popular place for local social events, because there was a large children's birthday party and a 50th class reunion weekend going on at the same time. The parties were nice events, not too loud.

Enjoyed a weekend away in Plymouth and stayed at the John Carver Inn. Very easy to find and complimentary onsite parking was a big plus! The rooms are spacious with the necessary amenities. The bathroom was great as it had a magnified mirror and a heat lamp. We spent some time at the pool which had a large slide and outdoor lounge area...very fun!… Read more

The bathroom was great as it had a magnified mirror and a heat lamp. We spent some time at the pool which had a large slide and outdoor lounge area...very fun! But the greatest part of the hotel is it's location. Very walkable to restaurants, shopping, and of course the Rock. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Plymouth! Read less

Right nearby "the Rock" in the quiet historic Plymouth surroundings, is a real find! Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere with the charm of the 1700's. A tavern and dining resturant connected. Our room was lovely.

Such a great staff and location for July 4th celebrations. I will stay again and again. The restaurant associated with it is OK but I have high expectations when there is a capture of the audience. The pool was hard to breathe in on arrival due to the humidity and chlorine.
