Found this place online. Got there and found out it’s under new ownership...spa was empty without a business in it. Pool was great and also no one around...my boys had a blast swimming alone using the slides. There was a lifeguard on duty one day. Restaurant was completely empty but we had to try it. Pool was great and also no one around...my boys had a blast swimming alone using the slides. There was a lifeguard on duty one day. Restaurant was completely empty but we had to try it. They offered $10 discount each night stay and we could use both on one check. Food wasn’t that great though. I would try all the other restaurants that are a few minutes walk from hotel. There Thai, Mexican, pub fare...every type of food really. Great to walk around. There was also a tour a few steps from hotel that was a walking tour. I would probably try again when seasons is busier just to see what more it has to offer. Rooms were nice and clean as well. Read less

We had the pleasure of a wedding in Plymouth and stayed at the John Carver for the weekend. The location was perfect for walking all around this charming town . The service people are friendly and helpful in whatever we needed The Inn is older but taken care of and a good value in a good spot

The room was clean and the pool and slide were great. The rooms lack any kind of sound barrier and after over an hour of trying to get my son to sleep I had to go to the hall and ask people to quiet down, which they did respectfully. Not a restful night sleep but did enjoy the pool. The restaurant was also fine. Somebody said it's like a… Read more

The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. Read less

I stayed at the JCI overnight 3/6 to 3/7/2019. I originally was assigned room 302. There was a nice Keurig coffee maker in the room with an abundance of creamers. I fully unpacked and settled in but along came some TV issues. Two very understanding maintenance men worked toward a solution, but the TV won. The TV in the next room was working well. So, off I went to room 304, with their assistance. Room 304 was clean and well equipped. I really appreciated the multiple, easy to access charging stations. Good for my several devices. My only suggestion for improvement would be a Keurig (or comparable) coffee maker like the one in 302, not the chintzy one I now had.I did not use the spa, but it looked nice. Attached to the JCI, is the Hearth and Kettle restaurant. No complaints, all good, but that’s another review. Also note, if one is moderately fit, the walk to Plymouth Rock, etc., is doable. Read less
