Continues to disappoint. My husband and I have been coming here since they opened close to 5 years ago. I assumed they would have managed to work through their growing pains and begin offering a high end smooth running inn and spa. This is simply not the case. Check in at 4:15 went smoothly. Brought to our room and given an overview. Asked about food options. Went down to the restaurant at 4:30 to be told in a not so pleasant way, “we don’t serve food between 4 and 5, but your welcome to sit at the bar”. So our options were, order room service or eat in the wet outdoor patio of the spa in the drizzling rain. Hmmm. An inn that has no food service from 4-5 in its only restaurant. This should have been pointed out to us at checkin. The hostess at this point says, “would you like me to see if they will make you something?, again in a not so pleasant way. Decide to go to the spa. Go out to the patio and find wet cushions and tables not wiped down and no bar tender. Find a towel to place on the cushion, get a cloth, clean off the table, find 2 menus and wait patiently for the bar tender to return. Upon doing so, he immediately serves 2 woman who have walked out after us and then asks for one of our menus to give to them because he only had 2 menus for the entire outdoor patio. What? Hmmm. Here you go, have my menu. He’s now busy taking their order and making them drinks. Says nothing to us. Go inside to use the steam room to find used towels and cucumbers laying about on the benches in the steam room. So, nope, they haven’t worked out the kinks and are not offering a high end inn and spa experience. Read less

Fresh croissants and fresh hot popovers served with dinner. No complaints on the food. It was all good. Loved the claw foot soaking tub! It was fabulous. The usual toiletries provided. In the spa, the massage room was nice and had a gas fireplace and chandelier which added to the experience. The locker room had all the amenities you would need. What I didn't like and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5: #1 I got a manicure at the spa. It was a poor manicure and they had someone re-do it the next day. The 2nd one was also bad (see photos - the worst a friend has ever seen). For the price, I expected better. I mentioned this in my survey and in an email to the spa manager. I've not heard back. #2 A woman was talking on a cell phone in the "quiet" area and nothing was done about it. This took away from the experience. #3 The hot tub area was fairly crowded . People stay and linger for hours so good luck getting a seat. The ratio of seats to people is not good. They need to limit it somehow. The "quiet" area with the foot soak is over hyped. It's a shallow pool with a big rock in it, period. People talk in the "quiet" area which defeats the purpose. Also, there's nothing else to do in the general (walking) area if you were looking for that. All in all a nice visit. Read less

Rooms are well appointed and nice size. The staff was very polite and helpful. The Spa relaxation room was absolutely heavenly! The most comfortable chairs anywhere. I had a wonderful facial which I enjoyed greatly, although their spa treatments are rather pricey.

The next morning we had breakfast in the bistro and then enjoyed a nice walk around Pine Hills. After the walk we enjoyed dinner and lunch which was included with our spa package. After lunch we headed down to the spa. Going to the spa at Mirabeau was an amazing experience we received the comfiest robes and could finally fully relax and de stress for the weekend. There is an outside jacuzzi open year round. Or you could relax in the resting room. The resting room is a quiet dim area where I personally fell asleep before we enjoyed our couples massage. We had such a memorable experience and can not wait to return hopefully soon! Read less
