Christmas Farm Inn & Spa

New Hampshire, New England

The hotel

Kicking off your shoes and curling up with your morning coffee in the rocking chair on the inn’s front porch, as you stare off into views of the Presidential Range or the Plourde family’s flower-stuffed gardens, may just put you at risk of not seeing anything else on your stay at Christmas Farm Inn & Spa. A 15 acre estate with a collection of clapboard buildings painted in traditional New England shades of rust, periwinkle, sage, and pure white, the oldest property dates back to 1778 and houses rooms with festive names like Cupid and Blitzen. After a complimentary country-style breakfast, you could head to the nearby adventure parks, scenic drives, or North Conway outlet shops. Or just enjoy this Jackson inn’s pools, hot tub, pub, dining room, and family attractions like nightly movies.

4th visit for us since 1982 under 3 different owners. It’s been a quiet, accommodating and well-managed Inn on each visit. The food has always been great and the grounds very well maintained. We found a great weekend package online. We've stayed in the main building and a few of the themed cabins and enjoyed them all.

I have traveled all over the globe and I must say that in Jackson NH there is one extraordinary B&B that surpasses many 5 star hotels in price value. Their rooms, many are suites or private cottages, are roomy, bathtubs are hushed with jets and their sitting area is top notich. Simply fantastic. Their dinner selection, variety and exceptional preparation makes this B&B my new favorite place to go for skiing and relaxing weekends. On site too is an Aveda Spa well worth checking out. Read less

My wife and I took a long weekend to this great spot. Jackson, NH itself is a unique cool location, nestled in the White Mountain National Forrest. It’s surrounded by beautiful mountains and great skiing and recreation. There are several great restaurants and pubs with wonderful locals who make you feel like you’re home. The Christmas Farm Inn looks and feels very homey. The rooms themselves are what you might expect, basic, clean, but with character based on the fact many of the buildings are old. We stayed in the Salt Box which (I think) was built in 1778. Breakfast was included with the reservation and was good. Better was their dinner. Saturday nights are game night with specials around deer, elk and other such game. Highly recommend these dishes, some of which are on the regular menu too (not just Saturday). They have a nice indoor pool and whirlpool along with basic gym. We took advantage of this and enjoyed it. Nothing fancy, but clean and functional. Kind of like New Hampshire! If you want a great place where you can stay, eat, and have a base to explore the White Mountains you won’t go wrong with Christmas Farm Inn. Read less
