Shout out to Ed and the rest of the front desk for excellent customer service!.Whether on the phone or in person they were genuinely friendly and very knowledable about the resort and surrounding areas. Although check in is at 4 we were encouraged to arrive earlier and enjoy the amenities if our suite was not ready. We loved the unlimited (included in our package) gondola ride to the spectacular mountain top, gorgeous foliage this time of year. We then enjoyed a cocktail in the pub/restuarant. We looked over the dinner menu ($25 credit included in our stay) but dined elsewhere simply because it was highly recommended to us by friends. Pool was obviously closed for the season but people were enjoying the hot tub. Our suite was very clean, spacious with a fully equiped kitchen. The mountain views from the balcony and the private bedroom were stunningly beautiful. Also had 2 murphy beds, 2 televisions, 2 bathrooms, 1 with a jetted tub, total relaxation! We did not try the spa, (another $50 credit with our stay) but the voucher for buy 1, get 1 breakfast was delicious. Hot and cold stations around the restuarant. Garage parking was also a plus.Check out literally took 60 seconds with the fun front crew! We'll be back. Read less

Stayed here as part of a New England Tour. Service was good. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen as clean. The rugs needed a good scrubbing. Shower could have used a grab bar somewhere. Murphy beds were fine if you like sleeping on a very, very, firm mattress. Sofa and chair in the room were very uncomfortable. Some of the food was very good… Read more
Stayed here as part of a New England Tour. Some of the food was very good and others were pretty bad. Had the breakfast buffet 2 days. Fruit, smoothies and breads were good. Hot foods were lacking. Hot potatoes were identical to those served with dinner at night. Pancakes were rock hard on the bottom and mushy on top. Nothing on the buffet line was really hot - just luke warm. Lobster dinner was served the first night. I can't eat lobster so chose the chicken and rib alternative. The ribs were tasty. The chicken was under-cooked and under seasoned. Both of us who had it at our table of 8 ate only the ribs. Opted not to have the offered buffet the second night. The views from all areas of the hotel are marvelous. Read less

Second stay at this property. Rooms are nice but not the most comfortable pull out beds. Kitchen is very nice, clean and room is spacious. Towels were soft but bathroom space is limited. Breakfast buffet was very good.

During our three day stay at Loon Mountain for the 2019 Scottish Highland Games the staff was superb as well as the amenities. From front desk (Cassie and Edward et al), Black Diamond culinary staff, pub bartenders, all the way to the folks that coordinated the busing, traffic and grounds. All were polite, professional, knowledgeable and always engaging! The 2019 Scottish Highland Games again delivered the goods. Our ninth time !! Every conceivable Scottish/Celtic event you could think of took place at Loon over three days. Concerts, parades, athletics, culinary venues, and vendors selling everything from bagpipes to scones! Great experience !! Read less

The room (studio) had two fold down beds, and a good kitchen with all we needed. The views on the mountain were terrific and the room was cool, quiet and comfy. In fact despite two weddings going on we never heard a thing because of the intelligent design of the room keeping you away from the corridor of noise. Would certainly stay here again. Only negative was the Black Diamond pub, we tried to have a meal but after waiting for close to 20 minutes we left as they were unable to accomodate us. Read less
