I feel as stay in European Country, Like a silent zone in town and everything looking like as a system generated even though in down town. During the purchase of cloths new style also seen for new generation and kids.

Five of us recently spent 3 nights at this beachside hotel, with 3 of us sharing a 2-bedroom suite and the the other 2 in a standard room, both rooms were in the "historic" part of the complex. While the hotel has a lot going for it, there were also a few things that we found irritating. PROS: The location is great, just across the street from Easton's Beach and a short walk from the northern entrance to the Cliff Walk. Flo's Clam Shack and the Atlantic Grille are also found nearby for good food. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. CONS: The $12 per day parking charge seems excessive, given how expensive this hotel is. They have enough parking spaces for all their guests and they should include parking in the high cost of accomodation. The entrance, lobby and reservation desk are tacky, more appropriate to a Motel 6. There is no food service at all in the hotel and the complimentary coffee and tea disappear from the lobby before noon. Again, at these prices the coffee and tea should be available all day and some fruit and/or pastries would be a nice touch. Conclusion: We look forward to returning to this part of Newport in the future, but will probably look elsewhere for accomodations. Read less

We had tried to contact reception but were unable to get any answer at 3am. This was disappointing as we had paid a premium rate given it was a weekend. Generally the reception staff were surly and unhelpful. As for the ensuite bathroom, think of the worst example you have encountered and the double it - this is what you'll find at this hotel. What a spectacular venue for a wedding. The couple got married under perfect skies on the beach terrace. The bars and rooms were enormous and tastefully and contemporary decorated. The canapés were delicious and the dinner perfect- all served with smiles and fantastic efficiency.

Perfect location across the street from a nice clean beach. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a king suite. It was BEAUTIFUL! Having the extra space was amazing. The suite was fairly new, very clean and spacious. Bed was cozy. Bathroom was large and beautiful with a jacuzzi tub. Everything is a quick easy drive away and plenty of good places to eat. My only negative would be the added fee for parking. Just include it in the room price. Read less
