Hotel Vermont

Burlington, Vermont

The hotel

There’s something inherently cool about Hotel Vermont. And its effortlessly quirky edge makes you feel cooler just for staying there. Completely down-to-earth, it takes you back to nature in its dining venues and guestrooms, where oversized wooden headboards, stone tiles and woolly blankets fuse earthy modesty with urban polish. It may have its soul in unspoilt nature, but both feet are firmly in the gadget-packed present, with all the mod cons you’d expect, and plenty you’ve never considered, including Vermont’s fastest WiFi, mobile and tablet charging stations, and Instagram Scavenger Hunts with Vermont treats as prizes. Finishing touches include jazz and trivia nights, farm-to-table dining, a yoga studio, and bedtime stories. And they’ve added extras to guarantee a genuine Vermont experience, including the Beer Concierge’s craft brew tours, a local Activities Coordinator, and hotel bicycles.

Staying here for the weekend. Staff was friendly and warm at checking in and made us feel welcome. Big room and oversized king bed I thought was super comfortable . Breakfast at Jupiter was delicious also. Gym is pretty standard with other hotels of this size. Great housekeeping and the pantry in each floor providing water and sparkling water as well as local fruit and coffee tea and hot chocolate is a nice touch. They are dog friendly although we don’t own one. The only downside there is no pool in this hotel. I definitely would come back and highly recommend it. Read less

This hotel is simple, charming and really great! Clean, entertaining and just another place I can call home. Love every aspect of it. Plus, the bar and the restaurant on site are so great! My stay for every visit.

Here for event. Rooms were very expensive and service not commensurate. Beds not turned down, empty takeout (room service closed) were not removed. 5 star prices without 5 star service. Enjoyed lobby restaurant, bar and outside area. Did love Burlington. Lots to do, and people very friendly.

Modern hotel with very nice rooms. We were last minute on the 4th of July but they accommodated us with a king room with spa tub and fireplace. Linens and bed were excellent. No lake views but certainly an upscale feeling to the hotel. Coffee bar with fruits and croissants in the mornings, which is a very nice touch. Would stay here again.
