Stowe Mountain Lodge

Stowe, Vermont

The hotel

This luxury lodge has definitely earned its bragging rights – New England’s only ski-in/ski-out lodge, it immerses you in mountain life from its location to its look. Dressed for the occasion in Vermont timber and stone, it has all the romance of an alpine cabin, but all the indulgences of a luxury lodge, including WiFi, a super-sized spa and wellness centre, boutiques, the fine artisan dining of Solstice Restaurant, and the casual bistro and microbrewery treats of Hourglass Lounge. For some, its spectacular setting’s best experienced from its outdoor pool and hot tubs, where you can lounge back and soak up views of Mount Mansfield. For others, it’s by getting out there – and Stowe Mountain Lodge’s Alpine Concierge® will help set you off on anything from snowshoe tours in search of frozen waterfalls to rounds of golf at Stowe Mountain Club.

Amazing service, environment, rooms, food, as well as very a positive energy vibe was experienced at my stay while at The Lodge. I only wish I had more leisure time while there, in order to allow me more time to walk around the rest of the property and experience even more of the beauty Vermont had to offer.

We wanted a quiet break and got it. Fresh air, long walks on the Rec. trail, swimming and reading. All the staff were friendly and bent backwards to be of help. Much of the resort was closed for repair and spring cleaning, but We expected as much.

Our time at Spruce Peak was nothing short of amazing. The staff, especially Diane and St. Pierre, were exceptional and genuinely cared about our experience. I should also mention Adam in the Hourglass Lounge who served us on multiple occasions. He was informative and helpful. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and they ensured that it was a stay to remember. As we had arrived after the ski season, we felt as if we had the resort to ourselves. The scenery was beautiful, and our suite was fantastic. We will definitely be back. Read less

The Solstice Restaurant is not worth the amount of money. We spent the weekend as a family with our friends. IT was a very special occasion as my husband received his masters degree over the weekend. The overall hotel experience was amazing start to finish but the food was terribly disappointing.

Really nice, great rates, really friendly staff. It is nice to just get away for peace and quiet without the crowds of the ski season. Mother's day weekend trip, nice brunch! We were able to tour area wineries and show my family from out of state all that Vermont has to offer!
