After dining at Harrison's in downtown Stowe we decided not to drive home that night. Stoweflake was running a Vermonter's special so we capitalized on it. Due to Covid some amenities were missing but to be expected. The gas fire place was very nice as it did snow during the night and outdoor temps were below freezing. Due to Covid some amenities were missing but to be expected. The gas fire place was very nice as it did snow during the night and outdoor temps were below freezing. It was one of the few times we've lodged at any facility and it was totally quiet from the time we entered the room until we left. Something we really, really appreciated on this stay. Read less

It has gone downhill over the last few years. We’ve been bouncing around to different hotels in the area. We figured after 5 years to return. We weee a little dissatisfied. However, Charlie B’s was excellent. Great food.

Went recently for a staycation to get a break from COVID. Was disappointed in the general state of the hotel. First room we checked into had stained furniture, and mold in the toilet. We were upgraded immediately when we pointed out these issues and the new room was much better, but still outdated.

Sadly, the rest of the resort seemed to "convention center'y" for us. The photos on the website were somewhat deceptive (in my opinion.) Quality of Guest Service was sub par at best. (But hey, they could have had an off day!) Value wise, it was not expensive- we chose it for the dog-sledding package getaway. Would have preferred more rustic, lodge type accommodations. Didn't dine here, highly recommend Edson Hill though! On a positive note, I think it would be a more desirable place for families with kids who want to do lots of activities. Stowe in general...breathtakingly beautiful! Read less

We stayed in one of the units, while my in-laws stayed in a different one. We had a lot of issues with ours, very dated, dirty furniture, worthless kitchen items... theirs was good, well furnished. So, you really need to do your due diligence on what unit you are going to get. The staff are very friendly, nice and helpful. I'd consider going back if I had a better idea of what unit I was going to be renting and not leaving it to chance. About 10-12 minutes to the mountain. Stumbling distance to The Alchemist, always a nice feature. Pool is nice. Read less
