1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

New York, USA

The hotel

There’s more than a ‘nod to nature’ at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge – it’s eco-friendly to its very core, from your room’s organic bedding to the nature-inspired children’s activities, daily Lobby Farmstand, use of reclaimed barn wood, and local artisanal products at the picnic-style restaurant. Style doesn’t suffer for sustainability, with features like corrugated leather headboards, gritty blackened steel, crate-style slatted closets, and a pop-up beer garden all giving the hotel a cool and contemporary edge. And they haven’t sacrificed those urban hotel essentials either, so you get complimentary WiFi, the Bamford Haybarn Spa, and a free shuttle into Manhattan (in a Tesla electric vehicle naturally) – although you could just stroll over nearby Brooklyn Bridge instead. But it’s the social buzz and views that make this place special, with the best enjoyed while sipping handcrafted cocktails on the rooftop pool terrace.

The title says it all. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room and amenities were awesome. The food and service was great too. If we come back to Brooklyn, we are staying here again for sure. Only downside for me is The Osprey. It is always full during the evening. I think checked in guests should be prioritized. Read less

Stayed at this fantastic property for my fifth time in late April to celebrate my anniversary and my daughter's birthday. Had other family come in from out of town to celebrate with us so we took four rooms for an extended weekend. We were excited for our family to experience this hotel as we had enjoyed it so much during previous visits for business. The location is superb. Not in NYC, but better. You simply can't get views of the city like this when you are IN the city. The skyline view over the river is mesmerizing both day and night. The hotel itself is best described as organic, industrial chic. Wonderful use of natural wood, exposed concrete, industrial metals and stone surfaces. It is clean and un-assuming all while providing understated elegance. The staff is above and beyond... kind, personable and helpful. They run a hip hotel without attitude. They were kind enough to upgrade my wife and I to a corner suite given our anniversary and frequency of stays, book direct! The room was spectacular with views that made you not want to leave. Staff sent up complimentary Champagne and quickly provided a blu-tooth music player upon request so we could toast our anniversary with my brother and his wife for an impromptu private happy hour. The rooftop bar is the icing on the cake. A great place to end the day. There are hundreds of hotel choices when visiting NYC...there is nothing like the quality of experience, location and sincerity you will find at 1Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. Read less

The rooftop bar and the pool are beautiful. You can overlook the buildings of New York. The rooms are simple, clean and feel natural. The lobby is spacious and lots of nature. I went shopping at soho, they sent me by the hotel car. I am planning to stay in summer again.

We have stayed here several times and like the vibe and green-theme in the rooms. I recommend staying away from the hotel bar which is accessed by a special elevator. We have asked for a more quiet room on nearly every occasion we stay here and the hotel always gives it to us. Can't beat the location - steps away from Starbucks, pizza and DUMBO… Read more
