1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn, New York

The hotel

There’s more than a ‘nod to nature’ at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge – it’s eco-friendly to its very core, from your room’s organic bedding to the nature-inspired children’s activities, daily Lobby Farmstand, use of reclaimed barn wood, and local artisanal products at the picnic-style restaurant. Style doesn’t suffer for sustainability, with features like corrugated leather headboards, gritty blackened steel, crate-style slatted closets, and a pop-up beer garden all giving the hotel a cool and contemporary edge. And they haven’t sacrificed those urban hotel essentials either, so you get complimentary WiFi, the Bamford Haybarn Spa, and a free shuttle into Manhattan (in a Tesla electric vehicle naturally) – although you could just stroll over nearby Brooklyn Bridge instead. But it’s the social buzz and views that make this place special, with the best enjoyed while sipping handcrafted cocktails on the rooftop pool terrace.

I’ll keep it simple. The bathroom isn’t separated from the room. So when you use it, you hear it and smell it. A lot. #2 is awkward. You can also watch your friend shower since it’s glass and there is no wall.... I had my time of month. I had no idea what to do. (Left side glass door of photo is the shower.) They made us feel welcomed and special. I only can remember one name in particular....Aaron! Check-in was just as amazing. the front desk ladies were friendly, inviting, and knowledgable. Alicia and Jursalem were exceptional. They went above our expectations and I instantly felt connected to this property. It was so sad when we had to go, but we will def be back! I had a wonderful chat with Ms. Sabene, she left an everlasting impression. So yes this property left us with great memories to look back on, share, and return! LOVE LOVE LOVE 1 Hotel!! Read less

I truly could not have asked for a better experience here! My partner and I visited as a staycation to celebrate Valentine's Day and our Anniversary. We let the staff know ahead of time of our celebrations and they went above and beyond with their attention to detail! Concierge Eszter was especially thoughtful, and went out of the way to make sure our stay was incredible. It is very evident that Eszter and the rest of the staff are dedicated to the hotel and genuinely care about how visitors enjoy their stay. The view is absolutely breathtaking and unparalleled! We only stayed one night, though left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. It was a wonderful way to take a quick break from the city and reconnect with nature. We hope to return soon! Read less

Kiki and Kat were wonderful upon arrival. Very kind, patient, helpful and left no stone unturned as my friend and I were trying to get adjoining rooms with our daughters. Our rooms had amazing views of NY with floor to ceiling windows and clear, far views. The lounge/bar upstairs, Harriet's, had a good vibe for a couple drinks and good music. The restaurant, Osprey, was nice for brunch. The hotel had a great location to be able to walk around/near/under the Brooklyn Bridge to go for pizza at Grimaldi's or Juliana's, hot chocolate at Jacques Torres, etc. Also close to nice walking paths by the grass and water. Comfortable bed. All in all - a one-night getaway at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge made for a great staycation. Read less

Our stay over our wedding weekend was incredible. Kiki and the rest of the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. I can't recommend this hotel enough - also pay a visit to the spa if you have the time!
