Andaz Wall Street - a Hyatt Hotel

Financial District, New York

The hotel

Promising that coveted ‘loft living’ feel, ANdAZ Wall Street’s roomy rooms (starting at 345 square foot each) come with high ceilings, oversized panelled windows, and cool modern styling. As you’ll be tempted to ‘stay in’, they’ve thrown in complimentary WiFi, and top up your minibar every day with free snacks and soft drinks. cBut you’re in Wall Street’s only hotel – so making the most of your surroundings is a must, even if you only make it as far as the hotel’s seasonal Beer Garden for a craft brew, its lobby for treats from NYC’s famous Gillies Coffee, its complimentary nightly wine hour, or its bistro-style eatery for American dishes and handcrafted cocktails.

We were able to get a great price on our suite the week of Valentine’s Day and we still got a bang for our buck. Compared to the other prices in the city for ROOMS we had a great suite we enjoyed together. While the bed was a little low for my taste, I am on the tall side, the soaking tub really topped everything off for our weekend getaway. Read less

It was a very nice hotel with an extremely friendly staff. We stayed in the deluxe king suite and the bathtub was very nice. The door to the toilet was semi transparent when the lights were on, but I would definitely go back.

We enjoyed the large spacious room. However that was the only positive thing. The thermostat in the room did not work so it was either hot or cold. The front desk was very unfriendly. Also with the daily resort fee, water and snacks should have been included. However no one came for a refill.

They are thoughtfully accommodating and happily so. The hotel is is close to everything and yet away from the crowded touristy areas. I wish I could live… Read more

My king room was very spacious and well-appointed. Staff were attentive. Breakfast was tasty. However, there is no room service between breakfast and dinner. You need to eat in the hotel restaurant downstairs if you want to eat in-between which is annoying if you are trying to working in your room. Their were not many appetizers and limited dinner options. Also, while they have complimentary coffee in the lobby, my room did not have a coffee maker, kettle or espresso machine which again is annoying when you are working in your room. Separate from this, I had one of the larger rooms I've had while staying in NYC. And I found the staff to be pleasant. Read less
