The hotel

Promising that coveted ‘loft living’ feel, ANdAZ Wall Street’s roomy rooms (starting at 345 square foot each) come with high ceilings, oversized panelled windows, and cool modern styling. As you’ll be tempted to ‘stay in’, they’ve thrown in complimentary WiFi, and top up your minibar every day with free snacks and soft drinks. cBut you’re in Wall Street’s only hotel – so making the most of your surroundings is a must, even if you only make it as far as the hotel’s seasonal Beer Garden for a craft brew, its lobby for treats from NYC’s famous Gillies Coffee, its complimentary nightly wine hour, or its bistro-style eatery for American dishes and handcrafted cocktails.

First off, the address of 75 Wall Street brings you to a shuttered entrance. Actual lobby entrance currently is on Water Street. This creates all sorts of interesting issues with ride share apps. The desk seems temporary, truly in the middle of nowhere. I remain passionately against the charging of a “destination fee” of $30. Just increase the charged rate and end the obfuscation. For this fee of $30, the hotel will credit you $10 off of in house dining, truly a worthless offer. I am a Hyatt “Passport” member. I am supposed to be charged the lowest possible rate. Imagine my shock when the App, Hotel Tonight advertised a night rate $60 less than I was being charged. The desk people were also perplexed but couldn’t make any changes or accommodations to my folio at check out. All in all an average experience ant an above average price. Read less

I have stayed here once a month for years, they hire this new manager, Yasine Radin and he is the worst. They are going to lose my business and I will make sure the community knows how bad the hotel has slipped into disrepair and nastiness.

The location of this hotel was great, however I would not recommend going on a weekend. The bar is either out of beer and / or closed. In addition the staff are not very friendly. Also, if you share a suite with family, note that the shower area is not private and that everyone will be able to see you.

Two of my favorite adjectives. This hotel was modern with an understated flair. It was clean, which is rare with hotels IMO and greatly appreciated. The staff was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely return.

I just spent a couple of nights with my family at the Andaz and we had a great stay. The room was great, spacious, and it was brand new and has just undergone renovation. The bathroom was also enormous, with a shower and a bathtub, we loved the amenities. There was a free minibar and all day coffee and tea facilities in the lobby, which was a great perk. The hotel has a wine hour everyday from 6:00 to 7:00, which is very unique and I have never seen this at any other hotel. We booked our stay at the Andaz directly on the website, which was very easy and convenient. At the bar, they have a “Chefs hour” in which the chef does tapas, and serves and explains what he’s doing. Our stay was at the Andaz was wonderful, and to top it all off, the location of the hotel is great. It is close to everything we were looking for, including the 9/11 memorial, and close to the train stations. We will definitely be back! Read less
