The hotel

Conrad New York Downtown is a statement hotel in a stunning location, overlooking the Hudson River from its spot in Lower Manhattan’s Battery Park City. As you step into its sky-scraping 15 storey lobby, it’s ready to wow: there’s the instant impact of its bold design; the multi-storey art installation by Sol LeWitt; the 24 hour fitness hub; and the sophisticated dining of ATRIO. Where is it

A short walk from TriBeCa, SoHo, Greenwich Village, and the Meatpacking District, and close to sightseeing hotspots like One World Trade Center, the Financial District, and the boat launches for Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. The Fulton Center transit and retail complex is also within a short stroll, giving you excellent transport links around Manhattan. Transfer time from John F. Kennedy International Airport: 40 minutes.

463 suites. All with climate control, 2 HDTVs with premium channels, Conrad Concierge App (for reservations and amenity requests) and one touch room control technology, wet bar, Nespresso coffee machine, mini-bar*, rainfall shower, bathrobe and slippers, and nightly turndown service. Deluxe Suites are 430 sq ft and have a separate living room with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Hudson River View Suites are also 430 sq ft with a separate living room but with stunning Hudson River views, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Executive Suites are larger at 700 sq ft with a private bedroom and oversized living room with sofa with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Luxury Corner Suites are even more spacious at 750 sq ft with wonderful views, private bedroom and separate living room with a sofa with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Conrad Suites are 1500 sq ft expansive, apartment-style, top-floor suite, overlooking Lower Manhattan with a private study with computer, a living area with plush seating and HDTVs and a kitchenette with a stylish dining room with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

What I love about Conrad is that the team's staff, from the front desk to the concierge and housekeeping team, is super sweet. The rooms here are spacious. (You are in NYC) If you take a river view room, you can see the Hudson River and the night view of the high rises across the river. One of the reasons I chose to stay here is that all rooms are equipped with a water dispenser system. I can refill my water bottle before heading out to the city, and it is also environmentally friendly. The location is convenient if you are planning to see the Library of Status. Battery Park is close by, and the 911 Museum, World Trade Center, and Wall Street are all within walking distance. For the upper town area, there is a little bit of travel, but the Line 1 subway WTC and Chambers St stations are not far away. Read less

The room was ultra ultra clean, I tore apart the bed and couch sofabed looking for bugs and dirt and as with many Hiltons, found these areas exceptionally clean. The sofabed was as comfortable as a real bed. The bar area was well stocked and hello Nespresso machine, love it and appreciate the extra coffee brought to our room. Bathrooms were immaculate. Bar/restaurant was outstanding - breakfast and drinks were the best versions of what we ordered. The two gentleman working the bar late at night were fantastic - one was a 20 year employee (wearing a 20 year pin) of Hiltons….he was fabulous. Will be back! Read less

Michael arranged for Prosecco and flowers. When we arrived, the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff was attentive and responsive. Finally, we had a medical emergency our last night and the security team (and housekeeping) were efficient and professional and kind. I don’t normally write reviews but the staff at this hotel were the best I have ever encountered (I travel regularly for work and stay at many hotels). They do their jobs well and seem happy and care for their guests. I would give them 10 stars if possible. Read less

Kenny, Darwin and Beth were absolutely amazing. Their service was top notch. We can’t wait to come back and stay here! Carlos was our server at the restaurant both nights we visited and he was just as amazing. We are bringing our adult children back next year and will definitely be staying here!!
