Nice hotel. Rooms aren't huge, but are good quality and have everything you need. Lots of floors, and you may wait a while for lift upto your floor but otherwise very nice hotel. I had fun in my whole stay!

I stayed here for a week while visiting New York City, the hotel is a typical Hilton Double Tree but there is a rooftop bar which turns in to a nightclub later at night! Residents get free entry in to the nightclub at night. The view of the sunset from the rooftop bar at night is incredible!

This hotel is wonderful. The housekeeping staff and manager, always polite and professional. I've always been a person to appreciate good service. I come from a family of origin that values ethics, morals, and beliefs that if you work hard enough you deserve rewards ie: tip well!! The hotel was always immaculate, stocked well, and provided what was needed. On one occasion the hot water didn't work, but it was all good- I didn't mind the cold shower. I'm not sarcastic- I needed to wake up!! The ice machines didn't work so I kindly asked for ice from behind the bar and that ice was actually better in size so no complaints- we all need a little constructive criticism- so there it is. I'd definitely recommend family and friends to stay here. It is also in a great location, not too far from the Hudson River and next to Hells Kitchen. During this crisis, there were nice delis to pick up food 24 hours a day. Thank you staff esp. Yanderis-who took the time to write a nice note. It really personalized my stay. Read less

Otherise, great expreience from the clerk at the front desk, to housekeeping. The location is a couple of blocks from time square, and next to bus teminal/port authority. Nice views of the city, depending on the room. Very clean. I would stay here again. I would have given it a 5 rateing, but one employees bad encounter and attitude to be of service (Nature's) made all the difference to make it a 5/5 experience. She was very unpleasant when dealing with her unkind attitude. Read less

We stayed in DoubleTree for a week whilst visiting NY. The location is very good as we used metro a lot (recommend metro city pass for week) and the station is next to the hotel. Short walk to Time Square and also close to my favourite Carlos Bakery :) Room we had was for disabled access so we had a huge bathroom and room was good size. We stayed at 12th floor and so We did not had a good view, quiet dark room however we didn’t spend a lot of time in room as we where exploring the city. Room was cleaned every day and towels changed daily. Room had a huge safety box so we could lock our belongings which was a positive. We use once breakfast and selection and taste was very good. Roof top bar has amazing view. The lifts .. as we where leaving early on mornings and coming back between 7-9pm there was not much of a wait. However last day the day of check out destroyed our stay .. we have waited 40 minutes for lift, I have went down the steps to check out as we didn’t want to pay any additional fees. My husband managed to get lift down after another 15 minutes. Member of staff have advised he may use the steps as well (however we had 2 large suitcases) so not really sure how he could manage go down 12 floors down with 2 x 25kg each suitcases. The staff on that day haven’t been helpful which was a shame as it destroyed our feeling about the hotel. Missed our cab to airport because of this but we have managed with metro and train. Overall good stay. Just the lifts issues must be resolved in the future. Read less
