This was our first visit to this hotel and, overall, it was great. The staff are very friendly, it is a small boutique hotel feel, and the rooms are larger than most at this price point. I would’ve given 5 stars but for the annoying hospitality charge, which many of the boutique hotels suffer from. Basically, you pay $30 a day above the room charge for a $10 credit at the snack shop (spoiler- water is $9), and a “free” wine service in the lobby. Our room was roomy and comfortable but we only had hot water our first day, which was a little annoying. All in all a nice, very centrally located place near the subway and all the midtown attractions. Read less

When you think about staying at a Manhattan hotel, all you see is $$$$ but the 50 Hotel & Suites was worth every penny! It truly felt like a home away from home with the right amount of modern Manhattan flare.

I was here for a two week medical outpatient medical stay. The entire staff was always very helpful, caring and quick to help with any need I had. My spouse enjoyed the nightly wine hour. This appears to be a business and international crowd who stay here. This is a pet friendly hotel, I did not have any issues with barking dogs, etc. All… Read more
