My wife booked this hotel for a surprised trip to NYC. When we got there we were very excited because it looked beautiful from the outside and the lobby was nice, and the location is pretty amazing being right by the WTC and very quick access to several metro lines. Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel left a lot to be desired. Most of the elevators were not working, so it regularly took 10+ minutes to get up or down. Not a single room in the hotel had a working refrigerator, which we were never told about until we had to call from our room to inquire (they said it was because of Covid, but could not explain why that meant no fridge, especially knowing some guests surely have medications and things that need to be refrigerated). Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms left a LOT to be desired. There were stains all over the place, the vents were clearly left untouched, and there appeared to be mold in the caulking around the bathtub. With the wealth of places to stay in NYC, it will serve you well to avoid this one. Read less

I arrived in my room on the 34th floor, the reception area had not impressed or the lifts or the look of the small but normal size NY hotel room. But when I opened my bedroom curtains I was amazed to be looking down on Ground Zero and the new World Trade Centre Peace Tower. The view each morning made my visit, even if the hotel in general felt… Read more

This hotel is extremely over priced. It’s dated and tired. It’s certainly not worth £920 for 5 nights!!! Bathroom door didn’t close, furniture damaged, carpets stained, bathroom counter tops cracked. Staff were lovely but I would never stay here again or recommend to anyone else. Not upfront about extra charges either. I feel ripped off

Very dated hotel - carpet stains throughout room, stained curtains and one was missing, missing knobs on cabinets, very dingy bathroom. The worst part of our stay came right before bed when my partner opened the mini-fridge door where there was a bag of something that was left behind. The worst part of our stay came right before bed when my partner opened the mini-fridge door where there was a bag of something that was left behind. It must have been there unrefrigerated for at least a few weeks and was definitely some kind of meat because the odor that filled the room was enough to make me throw up. It was no doubt the worst smell that I ever encountered. Gagging into our facemarks, we packed up all our stuff and threw it into the hallway before going to the front desk and sharing what happened. The front desk person was apologetic and moved our rooms. I would say this hotel should be a 2-star at about $100 / night for NYC. Read less

Don’t come to this hotel. Beds are uncomfortable, make lots of noise, water started to come out from drain, unprofessional employees yelling at patrons staying at rooms. Called the bell desk and it took over 10 minutes to get someone to talk to. Asked if we could leave a few bags at bell desk early in the morning around 8, show up only to find out… Read more
