Came to stay at the millennium with my family and didn’t realize Century 21 was going out of business. This is so sad because it’s one of my favorite stores. The hotel is right next to it which is why we stay here. So many restaurants in the city are closed and only available for pick up and delivey. The hotel was covid ready and there are forms to fill out and thankful my son was with me to help with everything. There was so much noise over the weekend with parties and young people. We notified the front desk several times about the noise but it didn’t help the situation. The front desk offered to give us a discount which didn’t make up for the lack of sleep. Read less

Our room was on the 51st floor over looking the World Trade Center and Oculus. Check in was busy and took about 30 minutes. I dont feel the hotel is doing enough to limit the spread of Covid. There was one hand sanitation station inside the lobby and I didn't see anything being wiped down between guests. Not enough clerks for check in. The room… Read more

There was one hand sanitation station inside the lobby and I didn't see anything being wiped down between guests. Not enough clerks for check in. The room was very lackluster as it didn't come with either a refrigerator or a microwave. The bed was absolutely horrible and we both woke up sore. The bar and restaurant are closed but there is a multitude of options for delivery of practically anything. We will be coming back to the city soon but will be seeking another hotel. Read less

My Poor Experience: - Moved 2x - first because of lingering cigarette smell in the non-smoking room I requested and second time because of a non-functioning air conditioner during the summer (September stay). - Social distancing/ COVID protocols were not enforced at all to the extent that security entered the elevators regularly after the 4-5 person limit. Disappointing to speak with the general manager who apologized but did little else other than say that non-compliant guests were to blame. - Elevators broke down multiple times, which didn't make it easier for social-distancing : elevators had 6-8 people in each car. - I stayed for 7 days and even considering their policy of cleaning rooms only every couple days, my room was never cleaned. Had to call multiple times for towels and other needs. - Loud air conditioners that made for terrible sleep. - pretty loud guests playing music late on every floor I stayed on. Highly encourage people to request a corner room for something passable. Came here to stay for work and feel little reason to encourage others to do the same. Avoid and go with Bonvoy/Marriot Read less

I’ll start with the positive . The location is nice . Easy access to subways , site seeing and shopping . I’ll start with the check in . As a Hilton Dimond member , one of the benefits is the room of choice upgrade. I checked before i arrived and saw that they had bedroom suited available. I received a text from the Hilton prior to my arrival asking if there was anything they could help with before my arrival . At that point i told them that I would like an upgrade. They told me they would make a note of it and it would be taken care of when i check in . During my check in the attend told me they would only upgrade me one level up to a junior suite . I told her that wasn’t my understanding of my benefits but would talk to someone else about it . I check in and my room was like a ice box . So i turned on the heat . But then noticed the window was open . At first i thought it was Covid related abs they did it to air out rooms . No biggie . Then tried to turn on the tv and it wasn’t working . Called the front seat abs they came abs fixed it . Needed a new remote . At that point i decided to call the customer care number to get a better understanding of the Benefits of being a Dimond member . I was told i was right and the agent on the phone called the hotel because she also checked and saw suites where available . She put me on hold while she talked to the front desk. When she returned she told me she was told the rooms where sold out . She abs i both knew that we were being lied too . The phone agent put a manager on the phone with me and he asked me to hold on . When he returned he told me to go to the front desk because they found me a room . He apologized for the inconvenience . I got in the room and 1 ) there was no clock in the room , the heating unit was so loud i turned it off for sleep and the tv was not working . I just went to bed and said I’d deal with it in the morning . I had to wake very early . When i was leaving the hotel to go to work i told them what was wrong and it the issues could be addressed . I got back to the hotel and nothing was so i called down the front desk . They sent someone up with the clock . I asked him about the other issues abs he said oh you need a mechanic. He listened to the loud heating unit and said he was gonna tell his boss to suggest a new room . I called down asking and said they would get a new room ready . When i went down to get the new key . The front desk agent was on the phone . Not realizing it was me she was actually talking about me to someone on the other end eluding that i was some how trying to pull a fast one on them . When she hung up the phone i said hi I’m here to pick up that key . I could tell she was embarrassed that i basically caught her talking about me . When i checked in to the room the parlors tv was so half the size of my Previous room, but at this point I’m like what ever . It worked thankfully . I moved the sofa to have a better view of the tv and couldn’t help but notice confetti on the floor . (See pic ) first thought was i thought these rooms are being deep cleaned . Needless to say i don’t think i would return to this Hilton property. I have another reservation there but I’m gonna cancel it and stay somewhere else . Read less
