The Standard Highline

Greenwich Village, New York

The hotel

There’s nothing standard about The Standard, High Line. Located on the High Line (a disused rail track that’s become a ‘go to’ sight for travellers and a ‘go to’ park for New Yorkers), The Standard has a cool Meatpacking District address. Its sepia and white rooms have a slight 70s vibe with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views over Manhattan or the Hudson River (or both). Sociable from top to toe, the penthouse floor belongs to Le Bain, a rooftop club that stays open until 4am most nights, while the street level brings you the pretzels, sausages, and beers of The Standard Biergarten, and the seaside-inspired menu of The Standard SeaShack.

Corner King was a sexy room to celebrate his birthday! The tub was perfect to accommodate two! Bed was soft and comfortable. Room was clean! Summer Plaza had delicious drinks and food. The view from Le Bain was amazing. The elevator added to the sexy feel of this establishment.

Best hotel experience EVER!!! Staff was nice. I was greeted with a bottle of Moet, food voucher and free cocktail. And the highlight for me; little duckies for my floating bathtub! My view was the best.

Bryn Ramirez, helped me get the room set up for an excellent night. The rooftop bar service was great, the room service in the morning was timely. The only thing that could of made it better was to stay longer! Especially during COVID Times the staff was all distanced and wearing PPE which shows great respect and we appreciate the extra effort it takes! BTW amazing views! Read less
