This hotel is close to Times Square 20 min walking distant to Rockefeller center and close to broadway theatres and Restaurants. The hotel rooms are a bit small so not ideal for families with kids. Building is set inward and easy to miss when arriving. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in early Feb. Ericka at Front Desk was very helpful and friendly. A gentleman (very tall and curly hair) who helped me to keep my luggage was also exceptional! Loved the location, the value for price, many dining options available around the hotel. Will definitely come back for my next trip to NYC.

We had a great five-night stay for a busy schedule of sight-seeing. The location is perfect - we walked everywhere except to the 9-11 memorial and One World Centre (we did the hop on-hop off - had a three-day pass, used only once because it took so long to get anywhere with the traffic.) The room was small (which was expected in NYC) but had what… Read more

The location is perfect - we walked everywhere except to the 9-11 memorial and One World Centre (we did the hop on-hop off - had a three-day pass, used only once because it took so long to get anywhere with the traffic.) The room was small (which was expected in NYC) but had what we needed, very nice bed, view on 32th floor, and excellent bathroom. The staff could not have been more helpful. Couple of tips: I needed ear plugs because of sirens, horns etc - even on 32nd floor! Grace's Cafe across the street is excellent for bagels and coffee for an in-room breakfast. We loved the Tick Tock Diner in the New Yorker Hotel (across from Penn Station). Also, Rattle n Hum in the hotel is an excellent pub. If arriving at Penn with just rolling luggage, don't bother with a cab, just head up 8th Ave about five min walk and keep an eye out for the hotel, recessed from the street on the left. (if you are walking in direction of traffic flow, you are headed the right way.) We would definitely stay here again. Read less

The hotel has a great location, walking distance to transportation, entertainment, shops and restaurants. The hotel is modern looking but the room are on the smaller size. I had some problems sleeping because the room pointed to the street and it was noisy.

Stayed here the first week of February. Overall it was a good experience and if we do come back to NYC we would consider staying here again. We had a king sized room. Stayed here the first week of February. Overall it was a good experience and if we do come back to NYC we would consider staying here again. We had a king sized room. The bed and pillows were super comfy. The room it self was a little small ( but hey, it’s New York). The bathroom was strange, it had a sliding door instead of a door that closed all the way. You could literally see the shadows in the bathroom and You can hear anything that’s going on in the bathroom. The hallways are very cramped and so is the lobby. The location is KEY! it’s with in 3 blocks on Times Square and just a few more to Central Park. The elevators are slow, so I would suggest giving yourself some extra time to ride the elevators.
