Stayed here for 2 nights recently. I would stay here again, without hesitation. Highlights were: STAFF! Really friendly, helpful. Great bathrooms, no problem with hot water. Room had a fridge and it wasn’t filled with stuff to buy, so you could actually put things in it. Rooms had a safe, though mine was a little hard to get to on the ground,… Read more

Room had a fridge and it wasn’t filled with stuff to buy, so you could actually put things in it. Rooms had a safe, though mine was a little hard to get to on the ground, under the night stand. Minuses: It could be cramped for 2 people, but it is NYC. Fitness room could be a lot better- equipment is old, but the room is clean. It would be nice if they did valet parking, but it really wasn’t much of a hassle. Read less

Lovely rooms, and really helpful staff. They helped me with a map of where I was and let me know how to get about. I would recommend this hotel highly and I can’t wait to go back! Read less

Location, excellent. Staff, excellent. Showers, excellent. (Think: Shower head higher than 4 ft tall and actual hot water). Room was clean and comfy and they got us in early after a redeye flight, so we were very thankful. Minor downsides were the closets are small and tough to fit much in, and I think the refrigerator in my room was out or not… Read more

Room was clean and comfy and they got us in early after a redeye flight, so we were very thankful. Minor downsides were the closets are small and tough to fit much in, and I think the refrigerator in my room was out or not very cold, but I'm sure they would have fixed it had I asked. For the price and location, we were very happy and loved the helpful, friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again. Read less

TGI Fridays on 5th Ave has happy hour $4 beers and $5 cocktails. Lots of places nearby for eating. We got the bus into the city from Newark , Got off at Bryant Park and the hotel was 5 minute walk. Real easy. $5 and below on the corner of 5th Ave for your snacks and drinks rather than pay crazy prices. Read less
