At the hotel now. Walls are extremely thin. Crying baby next door seemed like it was in our room. Street noise very loud. Major construction just across the street. Bright lights all night, even with shades. Early morning construction noise. Just came downstairs to have a nice breakfast and was told the restaurant is no longer operating for breakfast. Was here just over a year ago and it’s a great space, and had a relaxing breakfast. Now you have to stand in line and wait to order at the counter, from an extremely limited menu. Then the only seating is in a cramped, dark “lounge” area. Very disappointing. At the very least open your restaurant for breakfast. Read less

The place is very clean very comfortable but not my taste. Bathroom has showers no tub glass doors for bathroom even though you can't see in you could see image. No coffee in room, refridge is full of their drinks for you to buy, so no fridge or microwave. Beds are comfortable but very noisy outside and you can hear it inside. You can get other… Read more

Be very careful if you are looking at this hotel during November and December. Stayed here for 4 nights recently and ended up with a second floor room, the noise from the building site opposite was horrendous, they stated hammering steel work at 5am. We could even hear people talking on the street below. The hotel was nice enough but everything… Read more

We could even hear people talking on the street below. The hotel was nice enough but everything was extra and over priced. The staff were quite abrupt and pretty unhelpful. I know a lot of people come back to this hotel, but we won't be one of them. Read less

Stayed here for three nights recently. Arrived late and very jet lagged on first night so didn’t fuss over room allocation. Given room on 2nd floor overlooking 11th Ave and the building site opposite. Noisy. Would have called reception but phone didn’t work. Would have emailed but WiFi took an age to activate. Following morning had to prepay $25… Read more

My recent stay at Ink48 was one of the most tortuous experiences I have ever had in a hotel. My recent stay at Ink48 was one of the most tortuous experiences I have ever had in a hotel. Be warned, there is a Cantina/drag queen club across the street that starts playing loud music around midnight and does not stop until around 4 am, at which time the crowd spills out onto the street and screams for another 30 minutes. Despite the prior responses from the hotel’s manager on TA, my stay was NOT on a Saturday night! The walls are paper thin, the windows are single pane, and there was clearly an installation error made when the windows were put in. We heard everything on blast including people talking in the hallway, toilets flushing, doors closing, traffic, and the music from the club. I took a video and you can clearly hear the music thumping and someone on a microphone declaring a "winner" loudly at 2:30 am. There was no information provided at check-in to indicate that noise might be an issue despite numerous complaints on this board. In fact, the hotel touts itself as being located in a quiet part of town (one of the reasons I chose the location), which is false advertising. I stayed at another hotel in Times Square several months ago, didn’t hear a thing in my room, and had no problem at all sleeping. This was my first and last time staying here!!! Read less
