Image of the Tripadvisor rating Excellent service and experience at INK 48

I have stayed at Ink 48 several times over the summer / fall of 2020. Every single stay has been excellent and the service perfect. The Grab and Go counter in the lobby is the best way to start a morning. The rooftop outdoor lounge was the perfect way to cap off a busy day.

The main issue was being woken up at 4am by the TV or conversation from a neighboring room, which was so clear we could almost make out what they were saying. With reduced Covid capacity, you would think they could space guests out more. Walls also seem to be paper thin. The website also advertised that due to Covid, minibar items had been… Read more

The good- chic boutique hotel, very clean , rooms are good size for nyc. The main negative is it is not really near any tourist spots or great food. Hells Kitxhen is a fine neighborhood but I wish we were more in the action. However I got a great deal at $100 a night so I can’t complain

As a Wedding and Event Planner, I have worked at hundreds of venues in the tri-state area. Ink 48 is by far the most underrated venue in the city!  Our venue flooded a week before the wedding and Andreas completely saved the day! Andreas offered us the penthouse and terrace at the most affordable price! The views are absolutely breathtaking! It epitomizes what a NYC rooftop should look like!  The week leading up to the event, Andreas (the Sales Director) was in constant communication with me to ensure we had everything we needed and all questions could be answered. Nick Ivezaj, GM and team accommodated our every need. 5 stars for hospitality! On the day of, our marble sweetheart table tops had a mishap and couldn't get to us - Joe the hotel engineer helped me come up with a creative solution to build a glass tabletop for the Bride and Groom. Talk about a superstar troubleshooter!  The entire team made our day smooth and unforgettable. When it comes to the top venues I trust for my clients in the city, Ink 48 definitely lands in the top 5! I cannot wait to throw my next event here! Read less

We finished off our trip to New York State with a night at the Kimpton Ink48 and I will admit to preferring it over the Intercontinental Times Square where we stayed a few days prior. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square but has very easy access to the Hudson River Park footpath. It overlooks the Intrepid Sea and Air museum. With a room on a high floor overlooking the river, you can have great views of the displayed aircraft. Check in was very friendly and efficient. We booked a Hudson Suite. Although not cheap it was very spacious with a separate bedroom and living area. The latter had a sofa bed but the two are open plan - there is no divider between them. With floor to ceiling windows the view across the river is panoramic. The suite also had a spacious bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub, and complimentary Atelier Bloem amenities. The hotel also has a great rooftop area with a bar. In the middle of summer this was packed with both residents and visitors. There are great views over the city from the top. Another highlight is the hotel’s restaurant, PRINT. The food was exceptional and service friendly and attentive. The staff were also very knowledgeable. Although not the most central hotel on Manhattan, I loved the location. It was a lot calmer than areas around Times Square and I loved the access to the Hudson River Park footpath which you can follow pretty much all the way down to Battery Park; a walk I thoroughly enjoyed! I would highly recommend the Kimpton Ink48 and will gladly return. Read less
