Radio City Apartments

Midtown, New York

The hotel

You’ve seen them do it in the movies, but now you can experience New York living for yourself – walking below the bulb-lit canopy to enter your apartment block, a friendly nod from the front desk, before you hop into the elevator and ride up to your pied-a-terre. But this is New York living on a different scale – as Radio City Apartments is right in Midtown Manhattan, just moments from its namesake, Radio City Music Hall. It comes with all those home comforts you’d expect if you lived here, like complimentary WiFi and a kitchenette with a microwave, hob, fridge, and coffee maker – and those come as standard whether you’re picking a two bedroom pad or a studio. And the location’s the same for every apartment too – just steps from sights like Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and Fifth Avenue.

Xavier on the front desk was a bit prickly and the building was fairly old. Don't be in a hurry when you want to use the elevators. They are very slow and tiny. It was an okay hotel but probably would not stay here again. Ate at the pasta place downstairs and the waitress was high on coke. Was very uncomfortable as she was moving around like… Read more

Definitely the most friendly and accommodating staff I’ve ever experienced in NYC! The rooms were huge and comfortable. I booked our next stay the day we left. Can’t wait to go back to this beautiful hotel with my family for the holidays.

Our 8 night stay didn't start too well as the room was so noisy with single glazing and the aircon unit in the window which meant we heard every single sound from outside. I'm not naive and have been to New York many times and know how noisy it is but I slept so badly.... Carlos on the front desk came to the rescue, finding us a really lovely quiet room (tip, 308!) which saved the day. This accommodation could not be better placed, between Times Square and 5th Avenue with many subway stations to choose from. There are lots of restaurants around but we chose to eat in the apartment most nights and found some great delis for take out. Having a kitchenette in the room is a huge bonus as we could store drinks/salad etc. When we reluctantly had to leave for JFK the front desk booked us a superb car, really roomy with sweets/water and the most wonderful driver. Thanks for a great stay and hope to see you again! Read less

Hotel was absolutely fabulous! The location is wonderful. You are within a block or two of Times Square. Subway super accessible from here. So many restaurants right out the door. Five ladies stayed in the two bedroom suite. The room was great. Beds were comfortable. Room was spacious even with 5 of us. The front desk went above and beyond with any questions or requests that we had. Only issue we had was at arrival, Liam the bellman, was not too enthused to help us out. Other than that, our stay was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who will be visiting NYC! Read less

We stayed at Radio City Apartments NYC from Sept 4 for 5 nights , the room we stayed in was a one bedroom with a kitchenette . This was suitable for a family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 children 9 12 & 10) , we purchased groceries from the food emporium on the corner of 49th and 8th street and was a fantastic shop to purchase all your needs. We were close enough to Times Square but far enough away not to hear the noise or see the lights and was also close enough to the Rockefeller Center and Radio City and the subway . The room met all our needs , however the beds are smaller and two large adults may find it slightly uncomfortable to sleep in the same bed, however there is a sofa bed which I utilized and had comfortable sleep. Overall a good stay Read less
