My husband and I stayed here one night in early August, and then returned last week for three nights when I was coming to NYC to have surgery. We have both stayed in hotels around the world, but no where have we been treated so kindly as when we stayed here. Raymond at the front made sure we were in a room that would be quiet and cozy, and the friendly gentleman at the door (we unfortunately did not catch his name) was ready to provide suggestions for dining, etc. The room was clean ( I had no concerns even with COVID) and the hotel took care of any of our requests. The part that meant the most to us was that we felt cared for during a visit that was not for enjoyment especially being five hours from home. We will be returning to Hotel 57 for my post-op check and look forward to seeing the staff again. Read less

this hotel is a good choice for a mid price clean hotel in a great location. there's nothing remarkable about it, but it gets the job done well. This is the second time I have stayed here (prior was in 2018) and it has maintained its standards.

I had to be away from my apt for a couple weeks and I'm so happy that I chose Hotel 57! The staff went out of their way to be helpful and make me feel at home, especially Danny, Raymond and Lucy. I'd recommend Hotel 57 to anyone traveling to NYC - thank you for a great stay!

Great boutique hotel. Prime location! Great walkability to central park. Would benefit from a small in-room refrigerator. Rooms very clean and comfy beds. Great staff. Would recommend and stay here again.
