The best aspect of this hotel is the staff, in my opinion. Raymond, in particular, could not have been kinder and accommodating. I'm not familiar with NYC and had a lot of questions which Raymond took time to answer and ensure I was comfortable with the directions he'd given. Other front desk staff were also kind and helpful. I'm not familiar with NYC and had a lot of questions which Raymond took time to answer and ensure I was comfortable with the directions he'd given. Other front desk staff were also kind and helpful. The room I had was clean and a good size for the price I paid. The bathroom was updated, and stocked with Aveda products which I personally like. Only downside is there is no on-site dining so there was no room service available; however, there are eateries nearby. Read less

The hotel is located in the heart of midtown and close to lexington av and 5 th avenue. Every where can be reached easily and they have metro station nearby. I arrive there late and seems like they are very busy and only one reception responsible for checking in and operator job. I hear he speak loudly to engineering over the walkie talkie for some guest request. He is efficient to confirm me everything but he fail to tell me all elite members benefit until i ask. Anyway, it is just minor. I stay here for quick. The room is actually quite comfortable but it is not renaissance standard while you will feel like you are in courtyard or fairfield inn by their decor and furnishing. They use aveda as amenity and the shower is great, though there is some minor dirts in the bathtub. The following morning i enjoy the buffet continental breakfast in the lounge. It is actually good and there are lots of businessmen having meeting. Anyway, i check out early and it is actually quite good in terms of efficiency and proximity to the business centre. I miss the aft tea happy hour which is offered to eite member during the early evening time. Read less
