Great location, just off Times Square. Elevators were roomy for luggage. Staff were friendly and helpful, let us borrow umbrellas once we’d check out to use, which we returned when we came back to collect our left luggage. We’d requested a quiet room and had no problem with noise, the room was a decent size, shower only, but with an overhead and handheld option. As it was an anniversary celebration, the hotel treated us to red velvet cupcakes and a bottle of cava. The restaurant was under renovation, however complimentary water, tea, coffee and got chocolate were available in the lobby all day, with a wine hour 5-6pm. Would definitely stay here again! Perfect location-half a block from Times Square in one direction and rockefeller center in the other. The rooms are a bit larger than the norm, modern, recently remodeled. Beds are comfortable, desk is generous enough for a working vacation, bathroom is nice, the shower is definitely not a water saver, but it gets you in and out quickly. Kitchen is being remodeled for next few weeks, but hey, youre in New York-your not going to have a problem finding a good meal. The buffet they put together in the lower level was surprisingly good for no kitchen. PS it’s not a big thing but the restrooms on first floor are decorated/designed after the seven deadly sins-they’re worth a look. Read less

I love Kimptons and this one was no exception. It was a bit older and smaller compared to other ones I’ve stayed in but hey you’re in NYC. The location is perfect as you’re walking distance to just about everything. I was in town for a conference at the convention center and that wasn’t as close as I would have liked. The location is perfect as you’re walking distance to just about everything. I was in town for a conference at the convention center and that wasn’t as close as I would have liked. You would definitely want to take an Uber there but if traffic is bad (which it probably always is) you could walk. The only downside is that you are in a very touristy area. While you’re close to “everything” there aren’t that many great restaurants around. We headed to the Greenwich area every night for dinner because we wanted good food. Read less

The Muse Hotel in New York is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic location!! You are just minutes from Times Square and in the heart of the Theatre District. Each and every staff person I encountered was kind and professional. I will definitely stay at this Kimpton again!!

Positives: Great location right in mid-town close to theater, friendly helpful staff, new clean rooms, good size room, not noisy, lobby coffee in morning and hot (warm) cocoa most of day. Good rate for NYC. Negatives: $25 amenities fee. For what? annoying. Just add the $25 to the rate - seems like false advertising. Bedside outlet did… Read more
