The location between Times Square and the Rockefeller Centre and close to the subway is superb for seeing Manhattan. This is, however, a pricey hotel and doesn’t quite live up to its price. The room had very noisy A/C and no coffee making facilities despite being promised some at check-in. Otherwise its really nice with the Kimpton bonus of free… Read more

We had such a great stay at this beautiful hotel. Everyone was so nice and Christopher (the Manager) was extremely helpful and kind. We are definitely looking forward to another pop up trip, whenever next we visit NYC.

Impossible to sleep. Second, customer service was terrible, with no attention to the customer needs. Especially for an international traveller it is important to count on the concierge: I asked to support me and to call a 1-800 (free) number since not reachable from my mobile and they refused to call! I was helped by another hotel guest. 400 us dollars per night is too much for this. Truly a very bad experience Read less

Stayed here for work recently. Excellent choice. While it’s near the chaos of Times Square, the side street was relatively less busy. I requested a quiet room, which was “guaranteed quiet”. It didn’t disappoint. Blackout curtains were an added bonus. The room was clean & functional. Nice soaps, etc. the hairdryer was professional grade. There were… Read more

It didn’t disappoint. Blackout curtains were an added bonus. The room was clean & functional. Nice soaps, etc. the hairdryer was professional grade. There were travel amenities available in the chance I’d forgotten any. The gym was simple but usable with treadmills, “Peloton bikes”, free weights and open space. Open 24hr so I didn’t have to miss out before an early start. Only downside was probably that breakfast didn’t start till 7. Historical charm with modern upgrades. Recommend for business or social visit to midtown NYC. Read less

This hotel is a boutique hotel....small, but with a big attitude. It's very difficult to find. My driver drove past it on his first attempt. HINT: It has moss covered scaffolding out front and a small door. It's literally one block away from Times Square, and one block away from FOXNews Corp., where I was going to spend the next day. (I was told by the front desk that FOX puts up all their out-of-town talent here) The lobby was charming, the front desk was so helpful and hospitable... I felt like I was home. I had a great room. Very quiet. The mirrored 3D lighting fascinated me to no end. The room had an avant garde decor to it, similar to what you would find at The Palms in Las Vegas, but it all worked. For example, the alarm clock was one of those old fashioned ones that had a bell and hammer. The closet door, when you opened it, looked like you ran into a graffiti brick wall. I absolutely loved the uniqueness and creativity of the room. The only issue I had was trying to find an outlet that worked. I needed to use the blow dryer and none of the outlets in the bathroom worked. I finally got it the dryer to work in the living room's lamp outlet. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were comfortable. The AC worked great. Everything was great. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. It has so much charm and the mid-town location is just splendid. You are one block from the Richard Rodgers Theatre currently showing "Hamilton.: Read less
