If you are looking for a hotel in Time Square, I hope this review helps you. There’s nothing negative to say about this hotel. For starters, check in is a 3:00 pm. We got there at 1:00 pm and the room was ready!!. They even upgraded it for a room with a terrace (thank you Barbara). The hotel is in great shape. Everything clean and spotless. The staff was really nice and kind. About the location, its perfect. Right between 7th and 6th Av. Out the doors, look to the left, Time Square. Look to the right, 6th to Rockefeller Center. Took the subway on 47-50 to go everywhere. Just two minutes from the hotel. About the room. What can I say, I’m really picky about hotel rooms, and mostly, the bathrooms. The first thing I look at when I’m looking for a hotel, is the bathroom. If I don’t like it, I won’t stay there. Well, this bathroom was nice in the pictures, and it was nicer in reality!!! Really clean and in great condition. The beds were really comfortable. Slept like a baby there after long walks in NYC. Since there’s no open restaurants for dine in, we ordered our dinner almost every day. Dinner was delivered to the front desk, and they would call you to come down to pick it up. No problem there. Put the trash in a bag outside the door, let the front desk know, and somebody would come pick it up right away!!! This was just for dinner because during the day, we weren’t at the hotel. If you fly to JFK, just take the Air train to Jamaica station, from there, just take the subway to 47-50 st Rockefeller Station. It’s literally a 2 minute walk from the station to the hotel. I really hope this review helps!! Read less

My daughter and I had the great pleasure of getting to know the managers Daniel and Joseph through our masks. They are beyond polite. Truly hospitable gentlemen and they treated us like gold. I would never stay in a different hotel in NYC. Genuine hospitality is the difference. My brother and my mother stayed in a different room during our last visit and they were equally impressed. With that said, the staff was extremely accommodating, and very quick to address a situation. When we got to our room we discovered it wasn't clean properly. The refrigerator still had food and beverages from the prior guests, and there was trash left on the balcony. I called the front desk, and it was immediately rectified. I have stayed at Kimpton properties many times before and have never experienced this. I'm not holding it against them because they were at a very reduced staff likeI said. I will definitely stay at this Kimpton again. We had a great stay. Read less

Joseph checked me in and was very personable and accommodating. I was happy as an Ambassador member to finally be able to use the free weekend night coupon at Kimpton hotels which just began a few weeks ago. I had a suite (1902) and it was nicely appointed and very comfortable; great IHG bed as usual. It was back in the cul-de-sac and could be converted into a two-bedroom suite for families since there are two rooms in the cul-de-sac with a door leading to a foyer that can be converted into a main door. I didn't get a lot of street noise which was amazing since it's one block from Times Square. I would definitely recommend The Muse. The property has over 200 rooms but is currently only using 80.
