Trump International Hotel and Tower New York

Midtown, New York

The hotel

At the heart of Manhattan, overlooking Central Park stands the Trump International Hotel & Tower, rising 52 stories into the sky. It’s unparalleled luxury you’ll enjoy at this hotel, the home of New York’s only Five-Star and Five-Diamond restaurant! But first, the accommodation – not only beautifully furnished, many boast their own kitchen too plus floor-to-ceiling windows to take advantage of those views. There’s nothing quite like a New York skyline, especially at night, so sit back on the sofa with an aperitif in hand and take in the magnificence of it all. Something else you must treat yourself too is a trip to the spa, inspired by wellness techniques from around the globe, there’s a unique selection of facials, massages and treatments on offer as well an indoor pool, steam baths, saunas and yoga instruction. Now, back to that restaurant. Jean Georges is the jewel in the Trump crown, bearing the name of its award-winning chef, and setting the bar for the highest standards in quality and service. Blending French, American and Indochinese cuisine, the setting for the restaurant is visually stunning too. For slightly more casual dining, head to Nougatine, offering fine-dining Jean Georges dishes along with daily specials or linger over cocktails at The Terrace, an al-fresco dining area right next door to Central Park.

Had an upgraded room. It was dingy, dumpy, and dark. The gym was unappealing, the pool was dirty, just a gross hotel. The staff was very nice and the restaurant was fine . The bed was lumpy, the couch was scratchy, and the bath products were mediocre.

Overly expensive for a low quality hotel with terrible service. This review is not the result of any political leaning or belief. This hotel needs to update the bedding and furniture. The hotel lacks any semblance of diversity among its guests and is populated by old rich Caucasian men with younger boys who I assume are their grandsons, country… Read more

The floor to ceiling windows were incredible and since most of the other properties on the park are older those windows are VERY small it made a huge impact when you walk into the room. The service was literally TERRIBLE. I had an issue with my card & it turned into a disaster. On top of that the room service was insanely expensive (even for nyc) and it was awful. I ended up moving to the Pierre and all was right with the world again. Read less
