Mondrian Park Avenue

New York, USA

The hotel

Sleek, sophisticated and bold, it’s easy to see why the Mondrian Park Avenue was named in Conde Nast’s ‘Best 25 hotels in New York City’ in 2019. Overlooking Park Avenue, you can sit and watch the world go by in the rooftop lounge (drink in hand, of course). Wake up to the sights and sounds of the Big Apple from the comfort of your room, and enjoy a morning yoga class, run twice a week. After the sun sets, you can enjoy some Mediterranean-inspired food in the restaurant, or make your way to the hidden lounge bar to enjoy some live music or a DJ set. And when you’re ready to go out exploring, you’re just a few block from some of NYC’s top assets.

Work in the area and needed a hotel room 1-2 nights/week for the summer. Esther was super-helpful in getting everything booked and sorted. The rooms are decent size for NYC, bathrooms seem larger than most, very clean, friendly staff, fast elevators and awesome location for restaurants. Highly recommend.

It’s close to penn station, with good bars and food in the area. The room was beautiful and clean, with lots of artwork, storage space and mirrors. The bathroom was also really nice, with a beautiful glass shower.

I've stayed at the Mondrian twice now, and both times have been great. The bathrooms are so clean and modern. Staff is nice and the rooftop terrace has great views and drinks. Overall lovely stay and would recommend to anyone needing a night in the city. Also location is great, about a 15 minute walk to Penn Station and just around the corner… Read more

Our recent visit we stayed in one of their balcony king suites and it was an amazing experience. The Mondrian is also very clean, and they offer a breakfast voucher at this amazing cafe just around the corner that’s delicious! I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York! Their friendless and warm welcomes will make you want to stay with the Mondrian again and again!! Read less

Such a great experience! I truly enjoyed the wonderful customer service and terrace bar. Central location made it easy to get around to sight-see. Plenty of eateries nearby and the staff were very polite and professional. Highly recommend.
