I was recently in Manhattan and wanted to stay in a hotel but not feel like the trappings of a hotel with gift shops and kids taking selfies in the lobby. Staying at the AKA made this Los Angelino feel like a New Yorker. I think the upper floors are inhabited by long term guests or owners. The bar is fantastic and the restaurant attached is also very very good. The staff are great, very friendly and very professional. My only negative comment is that you can't get a cup of coffee in your room, you have to go downstairs and go into the sister restaurant. A very small price to pay for a great hotel in a great location. Read less

My wife and I just returned from a 3 night stay at the AKA Tribeca, over the Christmas Holiday. The rooms are a decent size and well appointed. The staff are attentive and friendly. Having never stayed in Tribeca before, I can recommend it as an alternative to the madness of midtown.

We checked in with a very friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms were ready early and very clean. So far the space and accommodations we enjoyed a lunch at the hotel before heading to a show. Check it out for yourself!

If you are looking to stay in Tribeca, we really enjoyed our stay at AKA. The hotel is right next to a subway line, including an express stop, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. We amended our plans twice without issue and everything worked out perfectly. We will stay there again.
