I love this boutique hotel. I've been staying at this hotel since it opened as the 60 Thompson, and have kept staying here as the Sixty SoHo, for over 12 years now. I love this boutique hotel. I've been staying at this hotel since it opened as the 60 Thompson, and have kept staying here as the Sixty SoHo, for over 12 years now. The hotel is small enough to get terrific personal service, and large enough to carry a full staff, 24 hours a day. They have room service, a good restaurant, a funky and fun bar, and rooftop with phenomenal views that are classic SoHo. I usually stay in room 123, 113, 103.. I believe these rooms are SoHo studio King rooms. The view from these rooms is also classic SoHo of rooftops with typical New York water towers, very cool. The team/staff are great. Friendly, professional, and super responsive to my husband and I's requests or needs. The Sixty Soho is a home away from home, our go to hotel, when we are back in NYC, and we don't see that changing anytime soon! Read less

We wanted a weekend away in Manhattan and this hotel is nestled in the heart of downtown Manhattan surrounded by shops and wonderful restaurants to choose from. Most importantly its right behind Laduree Soho, a lovely French dessert shop with the most amazing macarons! Once we checked into our room and settling in a bit, we were greeted with a bottle of sparkling white wine and two jars of treats with a small note thanking us for our stay. The room is also has a wonderful little Nespresso machine where we were able to enjoy a lovely cup of coffee each morning in the comfort of our hotel room. The room itself was very clean and charming and we loved the location we were in. We definitely would love to come back again to celebrate future occasions! Read less

Alex, Apollonia, & Amanda (The A-team) at the front desk are three of the friendliest, most welcoming, and genuine individuals I’ve interacted with since arriving in the city. They made me feel at home and provided excellent suggestions/recommendations on numerous occasions throughout the day. We stayed two nights at the Moxy in Chelsea which was nearly half the price of Sixty Soho but decided to stay one night at the Sixty Soho because we had heard great things about the hotel, the bar and the location. We upgraded to a King which promised better views, but got a small room that stared straight into a building. The room was otherwise fine and the bed was comfortable. One staff member in reception was very helpful and sweet, the others were a bit curt and simply not interested. In the evening we went to the hotel bar which their website boasted of, but we were strictly and unapologetically told that it was closed for a private function. The restaurant downstairs was completely dead. The location of the hotel was great but otherwise I would say that the Sixty Soho was definitely not worth the price. The Moxy gave great views, access to a fun bar and also a cafe - and much better service for half the price. Read less
