Gave perfect directions to my wife's appointment, got us a car for dinner and took of all the small details. Great, front men. Front counter staff(Jusissa, I think) was polite, friendly and upgraded us as a Amex bonus. Room was amazing. Miranda bought us tea and took care of all our needs and little details that helped Sarah. She was a pleasure to work with during the stay. Most importantly Sarah and I would like to thank Jon at the Concierge. Jon took the time to sort out our reservation that Amex messed up. Jon got us a reservation for a sold out restaurant on really short notice. He also did multiply other things that truly made our stay so comfortable. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay. A hotel with a lot of history. Definetly in my top ten of must stay hotels. Rooms could need a bit of a refurb but services are superb. Great bar with the best blood Mary I've ever tasted. Will be back for sure

I received an email from the hotels reservation manager who stated that my award stay and room booked under the rate used was not eligible for suite upgrades. I have ambassador status with about 600 nights across 4 years and in those 4 years not once has a property ever sent an email that read “your rate is ineligible for suite upgrades and certain elite status benefits”. Even if it was a corporate rate I was extended the hospitality and given a welcoming effort to upgrade, at the very least. I cancelled the reservation with Regis and booked a room at the Ritz-Carlton Central Park under the same rate and with the same amount of reward points. Followed up with a call to ask for an upgrade and the two rooms on the same floor. Their response was “of course” and they delivered. Read less
