The hotel

Thanks to a multi-million dollar makeover The Benjamin Hotel in Midtown Manhattan is looking hotter than ever and if you want to dive into a world of boutique luxury then right here is where you rip off the covers and get involved. Although the designs and modern touches are bang-up-to-date the level of customer commitment goes way back with pretty much 24-hr everything ranging from the front desk to the fitness room to the in-room spa and beauty services. The gourmet snack boxes alone will have you hungry for more and if you want a real taste of classic New York City style then check out The National Bar & Dining Rooms that's got grand café chic down to a tea. As The Benjamin Hotel stretches to almost 30 storeys there's no chance of getting lost in the city and as major attractions, such as the MET, the Empire State Building and Madison Avenue, are all just a few blocks away this is an excellent base to experience the best of the Big Apple. Finally, guest rooms have every box ticked with kitchenettes and mini-fridges ensuring you can definitely have your cake and eat it.

First time trip to NYC for our kids. We couldn’t have chosen a better hotel for our stay. From the service to the cleanliness of the rooms, we had a great experience at the Benjamin. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I’ve stayed at The Benjamin several times in the past year traveling for business. The hotel is located very conveniently in Midtown, with a fantastic restaurant – The National on the first floor. What I most enjoyed most beyond the large, well-appointed room was the staff. From the doorman, front desk, and housekeeping – everyone smiles, is very friendly and engaging. I had a small issue with the location of my room and Khawdy at the front desk was extraordinarily helpful and generous. I’m looking forward to staying there again for a weekend visit with my wife in October. Read less

Check in was great. Delighted to have the views from an upper story. The room was small and well stocked and supplied. Bed was comfortable and sounds were few. Internet was spotty and slow. The room was well worn, drawer was broken, toilet lid would not stay up and shades were torn. Location was key and didn’t disappoint.

Large Rooms & Terrific Service! The National Restaurant is also very good. Elevators can be slow in peak times though acceptable. Jaime & Elias are super helpful with your bags, helpful tips and arranging cars to the airport. Hint - Irving Coffee next door has great coffee and breakfast!

We were lucky to get a room at the Benjamin hotel after the four points by Sheraton let us down. Although pricier it was definitely a good move. Clean and chic with an air of flamboyant authenticity. Close to Times Square and plenty of eating places.
