The hotel

Thanks to a multi-million dollar makeover The Benjamin Hotel in Midtown Manhattan is looking hotter than ever and if you want to dive into a world of boutique luxury then right here is where you rip off the covers and get involved. Although the designs and modern touches are bang-up-to-date the level of customer commitment goes way back with pretty much 24-hr everything ranging from the front desk to the fitness room to the in-room spa and beauty services. The gourmet snack boxes alone will have you hungry for more and if you want a real taste of classic New York City style then check out The National Bar & Dining Rooms that's got grand café chic down to a tea. As The Benjamin Hotel stretches to almost 30 storeys there's no chance of getting lost in the city and as major attractions, such as the MET, the Empire State Building and Madison Avenue, are all just a few blocks away this is an excellent base to experience the best of the Big Apple. Finally, guest rooms have every box ticked with kitchenettes and mini-fridges ensuring you can definitely have your cake and eat it.

Great hotel in a great location. Nice and central to everything and near times square( without being in the touristy section) and walking distance to Central Park. I’d go back and highly recommend. The hotel is sophisticated and recommend the suite.

Great stay at this very convenient and amenable hotel in mid town. Close to all of our stops. Front desk excellent as were the doormen in assistance for cabs. Dining room very pleasant at anytime of the day with good food and choices.

I just returned from another stay at The Benjamin. The staff were as friendly and accommodating as I have come to expect from previous visits. This trip, however, provided two additional reasons for The Benjamin to remain my “go-to” hotel in Midtown. First, is the noise—or more accurately, the lack thereof. When I’m in NYC for business, the street noise usually gives me fits when I’m trying to sleep. But this time, I had a room tucked into the NE corner of The Benjamin and slept like a baby. I’ll be asking for one of those rooms again next time. Second, is the ease of access to the subway. I usually do business in Midtown, but this visit required an additional trip all the way Downtown during rush hour. Uber or a cab would have taken an hour. The subway entrance, however, is literally across the street, and the 6 Train got me there in 20 minutes. For location, comfort, service, and value in Midtown, The Benjamin is hard to beat. Read less

Just returned from my first stay at The Benjamin and it will not be my last. From the minute I was greeted by the doorman, and the friendly, highly professional reception staff, I knew my stay was going to be fabulous. Check in was efficient and an added bonus since my room was ready at noon, I was surprised to be given an early check in. My room was spacious ( double queen 12'th floor), and immaculate. The housekeeping staff were attentive to any request. The rest and renew pillow menu was a bonus. Mattress was comfortable, room thermostat kept the room comfortable and I never heard the heat turning on and off . Spa bathroom amenities and plenty of towels on hand. Checkout and car delivery was quick and easy. Did not have dinner at The National restaurant but next visit I will. Thank you for a memorable stay. Read less
