The service was excellent. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Everything was great. Would love to stay there again in this iconic hotel the New Yorker. Front desk was extremely friendly and pleasant and was checked in really quickly.

I was particularly pleased with the Wyndham sales representative, Mr. Dylan Porter, for his personal help and assistance with recommendations for restaurants and insights on the Wyndham experience. Also staff coordinator, Neida, was very helpful in room arrangements, and outside New York activities. My overall experience was quite good. I would go back again on a future visit. Read less

This old hotel is in serious need of a full renovation. While the lobby was quite nice, the room we had was drafty (ask for an extra blanket) and the shower is not pressured balanced so you get an occasional blast of very hot water. The hallways are shabby. On the plus side, the location is excellent , the room was clean and staff are pleasant.

The hotel is mediocre at best. We had a double room, with a queen bed and "metro view". The room was very dated and small. Not enough room for two large suitcases. As soon as we walked in there was a gail blowing through the windows, which a struggled to shut. A drawer from the desk wouldn't shut and would slide open on its own (a small thing… Read more

As soon as we walked in there was a gail blowing through the windows, which a struggled to shut. A drawer from the desk wouldn't shut and would slide open on its own (a small thing but annoying) You could hear everything outside and in the adjacent rooms. It was so noisy, worst nights sleep we've had on our travels. The bathroom was functional, but dated. The TV was prehistoric. We stayed in several hotels on our travels and this was the worst. The only good things; the staff were pleasant and the entrance to the hotel was nice. Read less

Travelled all across America and this was by far the worst hotel. Rooms are dated and very basic. Walls and windows are very thin so you can hear all the noise from the busy roads along with people in other rooms. They also have the cheek to try and get you to go to a timeshare talk. Safe to say the this has tainted my view of the Wyndham and… Read more

Safe to say the this has tainted my view of the Wyndham and won’t be staying in one again. Ridiculous resort tax and then also charging you to hold your bags. Not sure how people are finding many positives with this place. Luckily we spent a lot of time exploring the city Think you could find a nicer hostel! Read less
