They were gracious and helpful and easily found me a room (and a welcome glass of wine). They have theme rooms—mine was the wine room, which was pretty good and added a regional flavor. There was no bath tub, but the shower was modern and the towels were fluffy. My fireplace never worked and they came up and made a lukewarm effort at starting it. I got a room with a balcony, but it looked over a parking lot. Fortunately, it was not the season for sitting on a balcony. They did have some fun features—one could order a Pendleton blanket from their “blanket menu.” It would arrive via your butler pantry. It was quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed their fitness room, which was empty every time I used it and which had a great variety of well-maintained equipment. It is valet parking. Be prepared for that. (I am always embarrassed when I don’t have cash). They have a lovely French restaurant across the way, a tasting room next door and a fun luxury goods market right there. It’s a charming area. Hotel is elegant and well decorated. Love some of the small features, like the butler pantry so that room service can be delivered without even having to open the door. Everything is very well thought out and well done, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Wonderful romantic weekend. Location is excellent, walkable to everywhere. I'd definitely stay here again. Read less

The service is excellent from the moment of arrival to the moment of departure. We had a very early departure this morning, 4.30am, and our car was pulled to the front waiting for us to ease our exit. The only challenge is getting a reservation on busy event weekends so I am delighted to learn that next year will see the opening of a sister hotel practically next door to the current hotel. As it will be owned and run by the same operating company, I am sure we can expect the same level of service with more availability. Thank you Inn on the 5th. Read less

We had a lovely stay at your hotel, arrived on Saturday purchased many delightful things in the nearby shops, had a fabulous dinner at the little French restaurant, cocktails, wine and a fabulous 4 course meal. The next day we had a fantastic breakfast in the same restaurant, did a little more shopping and then at check out met the more nasty person I have ever come across at a 4 star hotel or any hotel for that matter. She was rude, argumentative, and accused my friend of lying in so many words. Prior to this I had considered how fun this would be as something we girls could do a number of times a year, that sadly will not occur, since I would not subject myself to ever be treated like that again! You need to re-think your star rating if you keep someone like that on staff. I sent this above email message to them almost 3 weeks ago and have never gotten a response of any kind! I It surprises me that management di not think it was worth looking into, Read less

Special shout outs to Jessica, Anthony, both Emily's, Chad and housekeeping along with other staff members that always remember my name! My daughter had a lease on a nightmare of a house for her upcoming year at school. My 3 day stay turned into a 7 day stay to hep her find a new place and move out...and the staff helped us with so many details. The hotel is located next to a darling restaurant called Marche. Truly a gem of a hotel in Eugene. The staff make this hotel professional yet charming. Read less
