Inn at the 5th

Eugene, Oregon

The hotel

The very definition of ‘boutique hotel’, the sophisticated Inn at the 5th is stylish and central in equal measures. Well-connected, it’s adjacent to a swanky French restaurant (which offers in-room dining to guests), is linked to a sumptuous AVEDA spa, and is part of fashionable 5th Street Public Market, which is a magnet for upscale dining and boutiques and home to the Provisions Food Hall. Welcomed to the hotel with a complimentary glass of wine, the neighbourhood’s vibrancy is mirrored at the inn’s wine bar, which comes complete with al fresco seating and a social buzz. Dedicated to delivering the luxury Pacific Northwest experience, your elegant room’s trimmed with local artwork and a nightstand fashioned from an old maple tree that once stood nearby – as well as essentials like free WiFi.

Love this property and its location! The spa room is amazing with the perfect pampered feeling for Mothers Day weekend. The staff and service at this hotel surpass my expectations every time and makes our stay so enjoyable. We'll be back!

This is my favorite hotel in Eugene. It’s close to great restaurants, shopping, and the University. The beds are super comfortable and each room has its own special charm. I love that they offer a complimentary glass of locally made wine upon arrival.

This was our second time staying at the Inn at the 5th. It is by far the best hotel in Eugene! The staff is great and the location is perfect. Not to mention the adorable decor. We had a “rain” room this stay and a “chicken” room last time. Cant wait for our next trip up to Oregon.

We decided to treat ourselves for our trip to the University of Oregon. A few of the great things: - Staff very friendly and helpful - Walking distance to University and Downtown Eugene - Free shuttle! They will pick you up and drop off at airport, and even take you to surrounding area if you book them in time. - Free snacks and drinks at front desk - Room was GREAT! Roomy and comfortable. The fireplace was also good! Down sides: - Price is a bit high - Shower was lacking water pressure and shower heads (only one) - Staff not very knowledgeable about local sightseeing - Freight train is 1/2 block away. Light sleepers beware, this is a REAL Freight train hauling mostly lumber many times a day, and night. I am a light sleeper, and the train did wake me up once at night (3am), but I think we had one of the rooms closest to the train. Not a show stopper for me. One note here about Eugene (not the hotel). Watch where you walk as there are some scary streets in the area. On our walk from the University to downtown we walked one block too far west and found ourselves surrounded by homeless and ... other sorts. I only mention this in this Hotel review because one of the main reasons we stayed here is to be able to walk to the University. Nothing against the Hotels rating. Read less

I do a fair amount of traveling and have to say this is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. The rooms were very comfortable and the service was top notch! The location is so nice surrounded by cute shops, restaurants and wine bars. Can’t think of one single negative thing about this hotel. I would definitely stay again!
