We loved our stay at the Salishan. Our connecting rooms very lovely—the fireplace was on point because the coast was a tad cooler than we anticipated. The cafe in the morning was a huge hit and being able to hang out by the fireplaces with adults while the kids (and dog) could run around was priceless. We didn’t get to do many activities—just the bike park, swimming (the pool was beautiful—wish I had been motivated to use the Peloton), some tennis and hiking, but all were easy and fun. We went whale watching in Depoe Bay while visiting (strong rec!) Everyone was so kind and helpful and my kids LOVED treasure hunting every day for the glass balls. The food and cocktails both exceeded our expectations too. There should be more hotels like this! Read less

We stayed two nights in October 2021 at the Salishan Coastal Lodge and had an amazing time. The staff was super friendly and our room was large with a peaked ceiling, fireplace, sofa, and balcony. We took advantage of the Aerial Park and really enjoyed it. Our dinner at the Bay House was PHENOMENAL - 6 courses for $100 per person, super… Read more

I had a small problem with a sink in our room. I explained it to Roger on one of our trips through the lobby. Roger didn't know how to tell me to fix the issue---BUT- he came knocking at our door a few minutes later. He had gone and checked the same situation in a vacant room. When he realized he had the same question that I did- he called the on site engineer. Roger came in- showed me the error of my ways- and he and I both chuckled at our naivety. Thanks, Roger. :) Read less
