Love the Moroccan Riyadh meets Palm Springs motel look! Great service, yummy food, fair prices. We were staying down the road at a luxury property for four times the price, but found the property didn’t meet our expectations. On the recommendation of a friend we came here and so glad we did!

The pool is awesome and so is the food and beverage service. We also love the Pink Cabana and think that Adam is incredible and everyone should meet him and be taken care of by him. The GM, Brian, is really cool and looks out for his guests. I think this is the best place to stay in the desert. Read less

Found this boutique hotel on hotels.com. Got upgraded to the presidential suite! Wow! Wow! The heated pool is open 24 hours. The restaurant has a Mediterranean menu. Did I say wow! You can't go wrong with staying here

I traveled out west last week, and upon recommendation, stayed at The Sands. My clients stayed their, too. As a matter of fact, people I know from my industry have rented out the whole place next month for a wedding. It’s a beautiful retreat, a fabulous oasis in the desert. When I checked in (which was late because of work) I was anxiously awaiting my luggage. It had been delayed by the airlines. After calling ahead of time to inform the hotel it was arriving, they informed me when I checked in that they had sent it back because I wasn’t there. That debacle took two days to rectify ending with me going back to the airport myself to get the luggage, after having missed meetings because of no clothes! Not once was I offered a toothbrush, an Uber to the airport or anything that would have helped. I did get lots of smiles and “I’m sorry” from the very sweet, but ineffective staff. On the few occasions during my week I would call for something ... like hangers. It would take two or three calls, with 45 minutes in between to get the hangers. When I called for a toothbrush ... that took 1.5 hours. Go down for something to eat at 10:02 am ... turned away. Not even coffee. Lunch isn’t served until 11:30 so getting some coffee ... out of the question. After everything we went through the manager was very nice. We called for a last minute party of 11 at 6:30pm one evening but was told they couldn’t accommodate us. Only for us to witness that they actually could have. We saw the empty tables. Ugh. I checked out very early and made sure, the night before, that someone would be available. As you can imagine ... I spent 20 minutes looking for someone to help me at 4am. One person, very young, at the hotel at that time. I suspect he was asleep. I woke up today, home from my week away, to see that the hotel had charged me over $1800 on a room that was paid for by my clients. Screaming! My clients also had their issues with the service and at the end of our stay we compared it to a great house with teenagers running it. Lack of experience and no follow-through. We’ll stay again because it’s beautiful but it’s a lot of money for the lack of service. A bit disappointing. Read less

As simple as that. Awesome. Amazing boutique hotel. Room was amazing and spotless and the design is really cool. The lobby, the lighting at night, the pool, all of it. Awesome bar and the food is killer. So fun. I can’t wait to come back!
