Loews Philadelphia Hotel

Philadelphia, USA

The hotel

An incredible hotel in a stunning location, the Loews is actually situated in the historic PSFS Building – Philadelphia’s first ever skyscraper! As well as spacious, well-equipped guest rooms, you’ll also enjoy the Loews brand of service – impeccable! For a heart-of-the-city hotel, the facilities are outstanding. The fitness centre not only features state-of-the-art equipment but also a two-lane heated lap pool. Pampering is also a priority – book an appointment at the world-class spa*, a relaxing massage perhaps or a beautifying facial. There are restaurants all around you but the Loews very own Bank & Bourbon should not be missed. It’s also a great place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink – a signature cocktail perhaps before hitting the town.

What an incredibly perfect experience, would definitely stay here again. Staff was so fabulous and guest-centric, room was super clean and comfy. The restaurant had amazing cocktails. I have zero complaints.

My room provided a postcard view of the fireworks display. My room was clean and housekeeping worked hard to keep it spotless during my stay. The front desk and concierge provided friendly and efficient service service throughout my stay. I primarily ate out with family for the holiday. However my few in room snacks were good! The location offers prime access to the convention center, reading terminal and shopping district. It’s also a quick ride to Penn’s campus for red letter days. I cannot day enough about this hotel and their amazing staff! Read less

Wonderful experience, We had about 150 people stay in the hotel for the weekend and it could not have gone better. Everyone we dealt with in the hotel was terrific and could not do enough for us. The rooms were great, the hotel bar was great also ( we had a pre- and post- wedding reception in the bar) and the location was sensational. And the wedding itself first on the top floor for the cocktail hour and then the reception in the ballroom were just beautiful. Overall we were delighted by our experience and would recommend this hotel most highly for either an event like a wedding or a regular weekend stay. Read less

Recently on two occasions my room wasn't ready by 3PM. 2. I got upgraded once and the room had no heat. 3. Breakfast wasn't available at the floor I was told to go for it. 4. I call in to ask for receipts and they sound like I am wasting their time even though I spend roughly $50,000 a year there. Is it really that much trouble to help me get my receipts when I have spent well over $100,000 over the last 2 years there and have referred several colleagues? I'm not asking for anything special or extra. It's just normal expectations but they've become problems lately. Read less

Hotel hallways and room were filthy. Air was broke, blood and hair on towels that were not ours. The bathroom floor were unspeakable. We called housekeeping and they never came. Stay somewhere else!!!
