Sheraton Fishermans Wharf

Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco

The hotel

Located just a pleasant stroll from the shops and entertainment at Pier 39, and the ferry terminal to legendary Alcatraz Island, the Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf makes a stellar spot from which to explore the beautiful city of San Francisco. But it’s how this relaxed and friendly hotel will make you feel after a ‘hard’ day’s dim sum dining, cable car riding and Golden Gate snapping, that’ll make you a fan. Rooms are bright, modern and supremely comfortable, there’s a heated swimming pool, and (our favourite) an outdoor living room complete with crackling fire pits. Add in a fitness centre – perfect for offsetting the inevitable best-ever meals in the local area – and you’re all set for wonderful San Fran stay.

From being assigned a room despite arriving early to the very helpful concierge staff, our stay was made pleasant. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of hanging and drawer space for clothes. Although the wash basin area was cramped, ample shelves underneath ensured that all our toiletries got space. Bonus points also go to the many sockets and USB ports for charging our electronic equipment. No wonder the hotel was always busy. Read less

Again great customer service. Our room was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable. The only down side was the bathroom needed a little more counter space. I will stay here again Thanks to everyone Read less

We really liked this hotel, the room was very clean and spacious with plenty of drawers and hanging space. Corner sofa, fridge and large tv. We were only one block from Fisherman’s Wharf and a 5 min walk from Pier 39 and both the E and F trams run from outside the hotel making it really easy to get around the city. Read less

Rooms were comfortable They had some wine tasting in the lobby The bad- Our room was directly adjacent to a huge bus terminal and it was noisy and annoying. Not sure how they charge a resort fee without any real resort amenities A few areas still need some love. $27 for a continental breakfast? No thanks We would return if the price were right Read less

This Hotel is with walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39. The Big Bus tours start from about a 2 minute walk from this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Though the hotel needs a bit of renovations the rooms are very clean and comfortable.
