Beautiful hotel, courteous staff and a GREAT VIEW. When we return to San Francisco, this will absolutely be where we stay. For our extended weekend stay, we wanted for nothing. We stayed in the bridge to bridge suite. Highly recommended.

This suite has an amazing you view- you can literally see from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Oakland Bridge when it isn't foggy. The suite is very spacious and offers a huge living room as well as two bathrooms. We enjoyed the views so much we had inroom dining each morning to be able to enjoy the views. While the suite is a 5/5, I would say the hotel is really closer to a 4/5. Decor is a bit tired and I think it's good that they are getting ready to renovate. Everything is clean though. Concierge was great, he was very nice and helpful, but the gal that checked us in at the Front Desk gave us a hard time and that was unpleasant. The bar on the 40th floor is also fantastic for views, so if you cant get a suite, no problem, just go there for a drink and enjoy! Read less

Overall a good stay. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. We stayed here on two separate occasions. The first time we stayed in one of the Bridge to Bridge Deluxe rooms which had great views of both bridges but the room itself was small. The bathroom (especially the shower) is one of the smallest I've been in. The second time we… Read more
Overall a good stay. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. We stayed here on two separate occasions. The first time we stayed in one of the Bridge to Bridge Deluxe rooms which had great views of both bridges but the room itself was small. The bathroom (especially the shower) is one of the smallest I've been in. The second time we stayed in one of the junior suites with only the view of the GG Bridge. The suite (and the bathroom) was much larger and the view was equally stunning. We had breakfasts and pre-dinner cocktails at the hotel restaurant on the first floor both times. The breakfast menu had good selections and the waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. The bartenders and cocktails were also good. We did not try the bar at the top of the hotel as our rooms had the same view (actually even higher floor than the bar) and it looked very crowded. Read less

If seeking a great hotel stay in and around the financial district of SF, we can highly recommend the Loews Regency (formerly the Manderin). The Bridge to Bridge rooms are really spectacular -- see pics. The service at the hotel was first rate. I appreciated getting a welcome text immediately upon check in.
