End of April early May we stayed, and I can't find the words to describe this hotel. Queen room 47th Floor facing the bay of San Fransisco. Absolutely stunning views of the bay. I don't think we will ever beat the view that we had in this room. We left curtains open at night as you just don't want to shut this view away. You can be in bed and… Read more

I don't think we will ever beat the view that we had in this room. We left curtains open at night as you just don't want to shut this view away. You can be in bed and be directly facing Alcatraz Island and also to your left, the stunning Golden Gate Bridge. Top hotel, lovely staff were so helpful. If I ever went back to San Fran I would have to stay here again. Money well spent. Read less

Every member of the hotel team makes you feel extremely welcome and every person greets you warmly and with a smile. Makes a huge difference at the end of a long day. The hotel is in a great location, right downtown and close to all transportation.

A beautiful hotel with extraordinary staff and service, conveniently located 10mn walk from Embarcadero or Telegraph hill. Our room had stunning scenic views over the City and the bay. Great gym and overall facilities. Highly recommended.

Our suite on the 39th view boasted breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay. The gym is spacious and well equipped. The most notable part of our stay was how great the service was - the staff and concierge were kind, welcoming, and responsive. In one instance the concierge overheard us discussing our lunch plans for the day and he jumped in and gladly provided us with clear and easy directions. Would definitely return to this hotel in the future. Read less

My now husband just stayed here over the weekend because we were getting married at city hall. When we arrived at the hotel we were blown away by the amazing views from our room on the top floor (48). However, the views are pretty much it. I had decided to stay at Loews because previous customers had said they're honeymoon or wedding celebration was memorable in part by the amazing hotel and the complimentary champagne and sweets. We did not get any champagne, even after I asked that something be delivered. Instead we were given what seemed like prepackaged macarons and nothing else. I was extremely disappointed! It wasn't how I wanted to remember my wedding night (they didn't even sprinkle rose petals or do the towel swans or anything). The doorman was very slow or sometimes not there at all. In addition to that, the hotel is not ideally located. The financial district on the weekends is DEAD. There was nothing open near our hotel room on Saturday night except for 7-11. I also found multiple stains on the comforter and the sheets. Finally, and this is a preferential thing, but the comforter was way too warm. We had the AC set for 65 and I woke up multiple times during the night just sweating from being under the blankets. We also ordered breakfast room service and for $100 I was surprised by how little we got. I understand and agree that the views are amazing here, but for the price, I would definitely rather stay at a hotel located closer to the city center and where there are restaurants (even a McDonalds) open at 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday night.
