Reasonable location for the centre City but very few yellow cabs visit the area, use UBER. I wouldn't stay again as this was an unacceptable cost for the product Read less

If they want to charge $700/night for a week, it’s only fitting to review them as a $700/night hotel and they don’t come even remotely close to offering an experience that matches that price point. If they want to charge $700/night for a week, it’s only fitting to review them as a $700/night hotel and they don’t come even remotely close to offering an experience that matches that price point. I get inflating the rates, even doubling them, for a big event but at a certain point, you have to think about your value add. This hotel is still a significant walk away from the conference center that’s inspired their once a year absurd pricing. They have a ridiculous amenity fee for their wifi, a $5 coupon for their pricey food, and half hour wine reception and then there are the unbelievably thin walls which, even at normal pricing would reduce my rating heavily. I clearly had international business travelers on either side of me taking calls at all hours and I could hear every word so if you like the vibe of sleeping in someone else’s office, by all means, this is your space. I called down at 5AM one night and they basically said sorry, nothing we can do. The topper was hearing my neighbor urinate though. For $700/night or even $100, at the bare minimum, I expect to be able to sleep in quiet between 10pm-7am. Perhaps all of us JPM attendees paying an obscene amount are doing a forced public service and funding their wall renovations? I loved how while checking out, the attendants seemed appalled at my high uber price to the airport as they handed over a $3K+ bill for four nights. I only wish all JPM attendees, especially the highly influential ones, left a review for their San Fran hotels based on the rate charged. We don’t normally think of hotels as being gatekeepers to the healthcare conversation but this week they are and it’s disgusting. Read less

However, it is on the very outskirts of the Union square area so it is a long walk to anywhere. The walls were also very thin, we could hear everything our neighbours said, even their snoring! The wine reception was only available for 30 mins and closed on the dot.The breakfasts were odd, on the one hand they were very original with many options for vegetarians, but on the other the food was almost too savoury for breakfast. However there is an amazing french bakery close by. Overall the hotel is worth trying, as it is relatively good value (compared with SF hotels), but next time will stay closer to Union Square. Marc and Gio at the desk were super friendly, and helpful with directions, and when I needed a package that had to be overnighted. The room was perfect and comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again, and I'll recommend it to friends!
