San Francisco Marriott Marquis

San Francisco, USA

The hotel

As well as it’s prime downtown location, one of the big draws of the San Francisco Marriott Marquis is it’s dining scene. Why not start off in The View Lounge where you can take in the incredible city views. At this Art Deco-inspired rooftop bar, you can enjoy tasty sharing plates and handcrafted cocktails as you gaze out over San Francisco. Also worthy of a mention is the B55 Craft House & Kitchen. This popular gastropub serves local comfort food with innovative twists, alongside a huge choice of artisanal beers and a selection of bourbons. When you need to walk off some of that food, you’re in a great spot to wander out and tick off the city sights. And at the end of the day, relax in your contemporary room — its soundproof windows making it even more restful.

The only reason I’m giving a low rating is due to NO PARKING ON SITE. there is NO Valet which means you have to park a block away at a different garage. This was not disclose when I booked for this hotel. It’s very inconvenient I wouldn’t of mind the $56 a night per parking here. Not ideal when being out all day. Then gotta Park a block away and walk at night where there is bunch of homeless around that area. And NO free WiFi Read less

The Marriott Marquis Fan Francisco is absolutely amazing! The remodeled lobby and rooms are absolutely spectacular with every attention to detail. Service is top notch and every employee we encountered went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Li at the pantry was especially kind and we really enjoyed visiting with her. We stay here during SF Giants games, like the rooftop bar. The lobby was under construction and new barricades were put up to guide you to your room surprised 😮 no apology lots of dust. Our corner room was big but outdated, cleanliness should be addressed

My first positive impression was extended from Henry, a Front Desk associate, who was very efficient and highly professional. My room was beautifully modeled. The bed was so comfortable and just HEAVENLY. I elected to have a light dinner so ordering the clam chowder at the Mission Street Pantry was just the right choice. I highly encourage all guests to give this meal a try as it was so chunky and very yummy. Kudos to the chef. The experience could have been slightly elevated if the clam chowder were served inside a bowl of a sour dough bread.... I’m just saying. Overall, I’m very impressed of my stay. Please accept a HUGE check mark from to this highly satisfied TITANIUM guest. Read less
