No sooner have you stepped foot inside the Casa Madrona than you'll be embraced by the beauty and style of Sausalito with views across Richardson Bay and beyond always complimenting the refined sophistication of the hotel's intimate hillside setting. Breathtaking scenery aside, Sausalito is well-known as being a vibrant hub for artists and like-minded travellers with an abundance of stores, galleries and workshops adding to a charming seaside village atmosphere. A stunning choice of 64 guest rooms provides an elegant approach to life over the bay and if you're looking to rest and relax within classically styled accommodation, which includes state-of-the-art fixtures and fittings, then prepare to have all of your Californian dreams come true. The obvious comparisons to the glamorous resorts of the Mediterranean are endless, so, when in Rome, go Italian, and there's no better cuisine than at the Poggio Trattoria Restaurant which can be found just next door. Finally, the views, the food, the ambience, all add up to a superb slice of life close to San Francisco and if you're hoping to get fit or relax in order to take on those undulating streets then Casa Madrona's spa and fitness suite will have you pampered and ready in no time at all.

Great little boutique hotel in the middle of Sausalito. Great views, great beds, and right in the middle of town. The staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfy. Huge shower and even a mini fridge.

Great location. Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Room had nice views of the harbor, Tiburon, and Angel Island. Good food and shopping all around. I'd definitely stay here again for another Bay Area getaway.
Beautiful views, very dissapointed with quality and service of rooms and hotels.

Nobody told me while making the reservation that there were not elevators, unfortunately i ended up on the 4th floor. Some stairs are no problem but doing the 4th floor 5-6 times per day with some heavy document bags is not good. I think you should tell people before you allow the booking over the phone that your elevator is out of service (reception told me it was a couple of days, not just a last minute 1 hour thing).
Also there was nobody at reception when i arrived (2pm, not the middle of the night), i had to wait more than 5 minutes while i was in a bit of a rush. Nothing major but nobody likes waiting for 5 minutes in an empty hotel. After taking all the stairs up I arrived in an ice cold room (56 degrees) and had to wait again for my luggage to arrive for another 10 minutes. There was no one else in the lobby or hall ways, so a bit surprised by what they did in the meantime.
I don't think this is up to standard for a 400 USD per night hotel. Also i couldn't get any breakfast in the morning, or snacks in the afternoon in my room.
Like I said, all together you have an amazing view in your hotel, and the rooms are not bad, but the service was nothing close to any other 400 USD rooms. For this money, i could've stayed in the Ritz in San Francisco and just Uber up to town.

I love the location, the views and vibe of Casa Madrona. The hotel has a great view and lots of outdoor seating areas in a variety of arrangements and locations. This trip was made even more special due to outstanding guest services and super Covid safety.

Payments are being prioritised based on when the request was made, working in order from March 2020 onwards. We will always try to process refunds at the earliest opportunity, for requests before August our maximum timeframe is 120 days. As we are steadily reducing the maximum processing time for each new request, for refund requests made in August, we expect the maximum processing time to be 80 days, from the date the refund is requested. For those requesting a refund in September, we expect it to be processed within a maximum of 60 days, and then reduce to 30 days for refunds requested in October, before returning to normal levels.
To finalise the amendment, one of our customer advisors will phone you. We need to work through amend requests in departure date order so we can prioritise those with the most imminent travel plans, so you may have a longer wait than usual until we’re able to ring you back. We will help everyone that wants to move their holiday.
