We had a nice room with a balcony and view of the harbor and the bathroom was spacious. However, electrical strips should be added because there was virtually no place to plug in phones/computers to charge. One plug was behind a desk and the other was on the wall outside the bathroom. Having to leave items and cords on the floor overnight would create a tripping hazard. I travel with a strip but many guests wouldn’t. Also, the staff didn’t seem familiar with the area or even the services at the hotel. We paid $50 to take an Uber to and from Le Garage restaurant since we were told there was no parking in the area and that we shouldn’t drive but when we arrived we discovered that there was a lot of parking right in front. Also, before arriving our travel agent and I were both told that the spa at the hotel was closed but when we checked it, I learned it was open. I asked whether I could make an appointment and finally got a call back two days later literally as we were checking out. When we checked in we were told that there was a fire pit etc. but it absolutely poured the entire time we were there so couldn’t check it out. Parking is in a public lot across the street for a pricy $35 per night. Given the cost of a room- over $500 per night plus tax it would have been appropriate for staff to be better informed. Dreadful experience. Rooms are overpriced, no heat in bathrooms, creaky beds, dated decor, expensive parking, indifferent service, unhelpful staff. We paid $632nincluding taxes and parking for a relatively small room with no view - poor value!

I hated this hotel. The room was uncomfortable. We could hear all the noise from the birds and cars outside. The room didn't keep heat. I have never seen such a loud heater. The bed was very hard and difficult to sleep on. We left after two days miserable and exhausted.

Stayed for our anniversary and the room was great! The balcony provided a great view. Will definitely stay again but this time will book a massage ahead of our stay. The staff were wondergul and answered any question we had.
