I went to a private vacation in San Francisco, and looked for nice hotel in the web. I chose Americana, and this was a great choice! Very clean, big room, good location. Everything was great! The stuff is very friendly and useful.

Pool, clean, safe, welcome, restaurant, drinks. Everything available, super accommodating, fair prices, friendly and professional, excellent communication. Welcoming Pool is warm and open 9am-9pm. All modern extras in room and hotel conveniences.

My family and I stayed at the Americania for one night and I definitely recommend it! The rooms are decorated funky retro, but it's fun. We stayed in the King Suite, which was quite large. The pullout sofa was perfect for my infants' bassinet. One thing to note is that there is NO FRIDGE, which for a dual breast pumping/feeding mother was a bit… Read more
My family and I stayed at the Americania for one night and I definitely recommend it! The rooms are decorated funky retro, but it's fun. We stayed in the King Suite, which was quite large. The pullout sofa was perfect for my infants' bassinet. One thing to note is that there is NO FRIDGE, which for a dual breast pumping/feeding mother was a bit inconvenient. However, it is not included on the list of amenities, I had just assumed. The room was very clean - my only (minor) complaint is there is some shoddy tile work in the bathroom, so there is a strangely sized step between the sinks and the toilet/shower area. It's not quite enough to be a full step, but is enough to trip over. We did not use the pool but did check it out, and it seemed very clean and well maintained. I do not recommend the restaurant - the quality of service and food is not worth the price. We were short on time and had a five month old, so Uber was out, but definitely will look around for other options the next time we stay. Read less

This was a great hotel for the price, the pool is undersold it is amazing so warm and the views are wonderful. It would be nice to have it open a little later since it is heated. The staff was great, and the K-Oz bar is a great spot for a drink and a snack or even a full meal.

Too noisy and room was too hot I only used pool once during my 5 days stay, it was dirty and dead flies, mosquitoes and insects were everywhere. I checked-in around 11 pm on Sunday night after 8 hours of flying, by the time I settle down and slept it was after midnight. next day early morning a false fire alarm woke me up.Room was too hot, and even though the heating was off and fan was full blowing but that didn't help. Too much noise, I can hear every single person who walked in the hallway, people talking into different rooms until midnight. I can hear all the traffic pass by on the road. It feels like I was sleeping on the road by crib-side. Its very important to take a good night sleep while attending conference, in my case I was sleeping more during my conference sessions, I was not able to sleep in my hotel room all  5 nights because of either noise and room temperature was not comfortable. I am very disappointed and will stay away from this hotel at every cost. Read less
