My standard route is taking Mission, instead of Market, go to my office building that’s around the Embarcadero. This route has less walking traffic. There are still homeless people on Mission, so please be aware. I got an ADA room. It’s pretty standard. The bathroom configuration is a bit odd, didn’t affect me much. The air vent was on the whole time, I couldn’t find the switch button, so it was a little noisy. Nevertheless, it was ok! The shower head, though, was lower than usual, so it was a bit difficult to wash my hair with half bending my knees. The bathroom amenities were PURE, shampoo was made in China but the shower gel and soap were made in USA. The housekeeping crew was great, and they offered me free bottles of water during my entire stay. I got a really good deal using a 3rd party travel booking site, so if this deal happens again, I’d definitely stay here again. Read less

The biggest thing tou should know that this hotel is in a perfect location to access so many sites, restaurants and shopping. The staff is amazing especially if you can check in early and meet Raichel. She provides an exceptional guest experience and ensures the entire stay meets expectations. I will attach a picture of my amazing room view of the city, FYI the room has full length windows. Breakfast is amazing in the morning and the staff makes sure everthing is fresh. This was such a great place to stay. Read less

Was there for the Google Next 2019 Conference. The conference even had some sessions right at the hotel and it was a very short distance away from the main convention at Moscone Center. Had a great corner room on the top floor with a great view directly of the Moscone Center, the gardens around it and the bay beyond thanks to the very helpful reception person Sara at the front desk helping me with my request. The room was very spacious with a nice big desk to work on with numerous plug points. The free WiFi in the room was great too. The big King Size Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was quite spacious and the shower was good though the top main one was not very powerful, could make do with the handheld one. The prices during the conference week were way too high for staying their on your own dime, perhaps they are better when quieter. For that period, the price reserved for attendees was still on par with the other hotels in the area, perhaps even cheaper than many others! Read less

We stayed at the Park Central for a conference. Our room was very clean and not spacious but not unreasonably small either. It had a very large TV. The location was great, between Market Street and Mission Street within a block and a half of 2 BART stations and within walking distance to Moscone Center, Union Square, Yerba Buena Gardens and art gallery and Museum of Modern Art, among other amenities including many great restaurants, coffee shops, and retail stores. Walking to Oracle Park and the Embarcadero is also doable. The elevators are extremely fast and we never had to wait more than a minute or two. I had 2 very minor problems. The room appeared to be handicapped accessible ( which I did not ask for). I have stayed in such rooms other times and except for a lack of counter space one time, have not had an issue. I am glad such rooms are available. In this case, there was plenty of counter space, most of it high up though (so probably not that useful for someone in a wheelchair and perhaps I am wrong about the accessibility). The bathroom was also roomy. The issue was the shower. It was the kind that is handheld but fits in a bracket to act like a regular fixed shower head. The problem was that it was too short! I am only 5’ 10” and it was too short for me (and even for my 5’ 6” wife!). The other problem was that my key stopped working twice. I had it reprogrammed once and didn’t bother the second time since we had my wife’s key). As I said, both of these were minor and I enjoyed the stay overall. Read less

I recently booked a trip to the Park Central for work on April 4. I work for a non-profit organization and we book our travel through a commercial service but use our personal credit cards for incidentals. Something was wrong with my card and my bank was having a network issue which made customer service almost impossible. Fortunately, Brianna was my registration agent. She was so pleasant and patient. She helped come up with ideas and was personally invested in helping me with my problem. Brianna was an advocate for me with her manager, and she and Clayton came up with a great, workable solution. Brianna really saved my trip and was incredibly pleasant as I saw her throughout my stay. Because of Brianna and the hotel's culture of service, I will definitely stay here again. Read less
