I can’t say enough about the staff in this hotel. I am a Marriott Ambassador so I have been to many properties and none have been as accommodating as this one. I can’t say enough about the staff in this hotel. I am a Marriott Ambassador so I have been to many properties and none have been as accommodating as this one. I was supposed to arrive the next day so we only booked 1 room for my wife and 3 kids (15, 12, and 3), but I ended up being able to join them. We arrived after 11pm and the person at the front was very helpful. We had only booked a single room, but they were able to get us 2 rooms last minute right near each other. They also gave us all bottled water which was nice and check in was very quick. The rooms are quite large; even with 2 Queens there was still plenty of room for the crib and all of our suitcases. The room was clean and every lamp and clock and table had a USB for charging which is great! They were also kind enough to bring us fresh homemade brownies and Fiji water, likely after hearing the kids complain about being hungry. That saved the day! They also gave us a set of cool luggage tags made from hotel key cards which my 3yr old loved. For being in the middle of the city the rooms were very quiet and we were able to sleep in without a problem. The location is good and there are a lot of shops and stores within walking distance, as well as a 24 hour Jack in the box that was able to feed the kids chicken nugget addiction. The food at breakfast was great! The fruit was very fresh and our breakfasts were made to order very quickly. The servers were extremely accommodating of the kids (mainly my 3yr old) desires to have every food item deconstructed (aka no berries in the yogurt). They also brought extra helpings of bacon as requested by my daughter. They were all extremely nice and made the experience just that much better. Can’t say enough great things about our experience here and we will definitely return! Read less

Hotel situated a short walk of about 3 blocks from Union Square - downhill- whatever you do don't go right uphill as you enter a really bad scary area. Hotel itself not worth the money or classification as the reception area is nice and modern looking but the rooms and Lifts let the hotel down. The rooms are outdated with a bad smell of old carpets. The bathroom was small and very basic. I wouldn't recommend as your money could ge better than this. Read less

No Shampoo, no Body Wash, only few towels. All the furniture very old. Wardrobe doors couldn't open properly and windows couldn't open. We chosen this hotel because the brand, but we found a really old place. We booked a suite for 4 person and they gave us only 1 bedroom. And i'm GOLD SPG member also. We asked to change and they gave us a regular room with 2 queen Bedroom. Big downgrade but they didnt reduce the rate. The area is full of homeless. Parking area cost is 59,99 Dollars a day. From the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly. The room was good and the location is ideal as you are right in the heart of the city near Union Square, China Town, tour bus pick up points and the cable car stops. Easy to get to other parts as well such as Fisherman’s Wharf. We stayed over July 4th and actually walked back from the bay with the crowds and it wasn’t nearly as long as I thought it would be. The food was good in the hotel and we couldn’t fault our stay there, ideal if you want to be in the middle of the action! Read less
